I only visit /fa/ and /ck/ so my hobbies are fashion and cooking. I don't think you have to associate yourself with 4chan culture necessarily unless you browse /b/

I've really come to appreciate how mean the board is. I think that's what preserves whatever shred of quality the board has left.

I view my browsing of /fa/ as part of a trasnition to normalcy. Found the site as a 16 year old nerdy kid who browsed /b/, then /v/, then /a/, then /co/, then /k/, then /mu/, then /pol/, then /fa/. Some crossover in the transitions, but I'm steadily becoming a more normal person even withing the context of 4chan.
(I guess a lot of people on /pol/ are non-normal but from my new mindset this is better than the SRS ideals and friends I used to have)

polite sage for not-/fa/

>> No.6804713

I browse /fa/ because my therapist says I need to wear clothes to reintegrate into society or some BULLSHIT like that.

Pretty much the same, came here as a 14 year old, went to /b/, then /a/ then /jp/ then /mu/ then /tv/ then /mu/ again and now at 19 I only browse /fa/.
