Up in LA now, right near UCLA. Yeah it's weird because people told me UCI has hot girls but I thought it was really meh. I never bothered studying in libraries much, but I had a bullshit major so I didn't study much anyways. The image of science majors getting pissed off at high school kids from uni or woodbridge cracks me up though. I used tell myself this while wearing my Rafs Holos with a shitty pair of pants and crappy tops. It looks ridiculous, like you spent all of your money on one piece, and nothing goes together.
I just sold my Rafs for more money than I paid and am now saving up for a better wardrobe, one piece at a time. Right now I just go for simple streetwear (Bape, supreme, af1s etc) which is way cheaper than trying to mix expensive shit with non expensive, until I save enough money to cop more expensive stuff.

Good advice, and most people on the board will agree with me,is to pick out a certain look you want and work towards it one piece at a time until you get there, it will be worth it in the end.

You may not think there is much of a difference between a pair of $30 plndr jeans on sale and a pair of $200 drkshdw's on sale but there is a huge difference.

Also, ebay hunt for stuff. You can find stuff for crazy cheap. This month I've copped two pairs of cdg chucks for $30 each (say what you want about cdg chucks). Point is most of the time you can find some hot prices on some lightly used stuff if you look and wait a bit.

Basically you take a big test that's held 3 times a year. If you pass you then do more testing. Then interviews and background checks and such. Then your in.

After that they train you in DC (languages and other junk) and then assign you to a country. You work there for a few years then go to another country. Yeah it's embassy work. The test is not too bad if you read a lot. Like, economist, foreign affairs, foreign policy, atlantic, etc. I just fucked up and missed the cut by a couple points.

It's awesome for traveling. Pay isn't amazing though compared to private sector but good benefits.
