Tell him to get some black Levi 511 jeans, some monochromatic shirts, u-neck preferably, if he insists on graphic tees then get some stuff from Actual Pain, shop with asian stereotypes(pic related) or KILLSTAR clothing and some solid black converse hightops or oxblood or solid black doc martens.

If worn with other colourful clothes they could act as an interesting contrast. I quite like them but obviously you couldn't wear them with any other black clothes.

Every song they make sounds exactly the same, the production is generic as hell and sounds the same as every other abyss studios band, lyrics were written by a 12 year old being forced to go to church. They're black metal for people who don't listen to it (although their first album was cool).
There are way better black metal bands out there such as Niden Div 187, Frozen Shadows, Zyklon-B and Mysticum
