What really is COS supposed to be ripping off?

Browsing their earlier lookbooks, it just seems like the insipid trite stuff from Jil

But the new stuff at their shop looks a lot like Raf or Acne

>> No.6762985

Understated minimalism, so naturally it bears similarity to APC, ACNE, Jil Sander etc. It's not the same kind of chain as H&M or Zara where you'll find 1 on 1 fast fashion 'rip offs'.

I went to a COS store yesterday for the first time and everything looked like shit. Worse than H&M. Low-quality suits and shirts. Everything else just horrible.

nice try

COS is great quality, most of what they have is made in Portugal, excellent cops if you want a nice minimalist look on a budget.

I guess I have to give it another chance.
Everything looked so BORING, though.

Maybe you should just stick to Asos and Topm8, m8

Yes. Because disliking one brand of 'minimalistic' clothing makes me like those.

how do you feel about the brand in general? have you got any info?

garment quality, human rights infringements, worker salaries, etc

I only have 1 sweater from them but it's the best fitting sweater I own. Made in Portugal so that already puts it ahead of most other high street shops in terms of human rights.
