the commuter jeans are just a marketing gimmick. not very well conceived imo.
the jacket is an improvement, but there's still the question of why you're buying denim to bicycle in.

Commuter line as a whole is a marketing gimmick.

Ok sure, maybe reflective tape or whatever is marginally useful when biking at night, but no one purchases something because of something so insignificant.

Commuter line is just slightly better apparel at a much higher price.

Still, the jacket is solid.
