Pea coat thread. Because it's going to be fall soon and all of the clearance sales are probably ending.

Anyone know where to get something like this but less YESSTYLE? I actually have the ottermode body for it but I don't want it to fall apart in the washing machine.

Kinda neat but that looks a little long for me, plus I like the plain 1 or 2 rows of buttons down the front. Do they make other pea coats?

Yeah. Like this but maybe a bit slimmer and not $350.

Anyone own any good pea coats that they want to show off?

Find a slim fit peacoat and get it tailored. It's much cheaper than finding one that would actually fit perfect.

Better fit = more $$

Did a little research,

Looks expensive. 60 euros is kind of a lot here in God's Chosen Land of Freedom and Obesity.

if you cant afford the nice stuff just go for burberry, they make a LOT of coats like that in decent quality, wait for their sale if youre poor, they drop everything by 70% or something crazy like that

Find a place near you that will tailor it for you. The quote you get from Sufu isn't going to be the same as some low-key place in your town. I get most of my tailoring done in Boston and it's reasonable.

Not OP, but ssense doesn't have coats with good looking collar lines. It seems to be difficult to find a good wool coat with some serious looking collar/hood.

I'm looking for some russian-tier shit and can't find.

I need a winter coat also, one that I can wear to the office. Are peacoats too common? Seriously considering getting a duffle coat instead.

I seriously have never washed any of my coats ever...

Duffle coats are going to be the new peacoat soon. I actually saw them more than I saw peacoats last year in NYC.

>> No.6692555

>>6692535
Just read one review:
>I must say that the color of this coat is a lot closer to Black than it is to Navy and for me that was a good thing. You can only detect the midnight blue color if a bright spotlight is shining down on you.

What is the best color for a peacoat? For some reason I feel like I want charcoal but not completely sure.

>> No.6692576

>>6692544
Damn, I see a lot of women wearing them actually. Is there any other warm outwear that looks good in an office setting? Not that it really matters, these are fairly classic designs that will be around for a while.

Honestly, peacoats are fine. People shit on them here because of how popular they've gotten, but you can still stand above the crowd with one that fits better and is made with higher quality.

Both? Black almost always look like shit unless you're wearing all black. Charcoal limits what you have to wear, and also pretty popular color for women. Navy da bes because not only is it a good color, it's also versatile. Just make sure the navy is not too light or too dark that it looks black.

>> No.6692642

>>6692616
Ok, I get what you are saying. What about wearing a navy peacoat with indigo denim or some navy chinos. Could that end up looking too matchy?

>> No.6692659

>>6692642
Depends on color of pants. Easiest to avoid looking too matchy if pants are lighter than coat.
