Most expensive t-shirts are see-through in white. James Perse is hugely see-through, Alexander Wang (milder), Acne, they're made to be that way. Do you honestly think they went "oh woops, looks like they're translucent! Oh well, on the shelves they go!" the cotton is very thin and luxurious that's why it costs what it does.

SOME white t-shirts aren't see through, like MMM but that's because it uses a different kind of weave/cotton/material treatment I don't know it's just different. Same with Jil Sander but those are indistinguishable from supermarket tees aside from being lycra-tight.

Where may I find cheap boots for uni? It's rainy as fuck where I live and I'm tired of getting my feet wet when I'm wearing my Vans. Beater boots that look decent enough.

Picture is Katahdin boots but I've heard the sizing is whack. Hopefully something slightly cheaper. Note that not I'm necessarily looking for quality boots that will last me until the heat death of the universe.
