the cut is the the way the denim is cut before it's sewed together. changes the shape. straight leg is a cut, taper is a cut, etc. it can get slimmer towards the ankle or the leg can curve or it can be tighter in certain areas. just depends on the jean.

Let me elaborate: they look bad on him and, unless he's going for an androgynous look, they're too skinny. If he posts a full body shot, I'm guessing they'll show that he has somewhat large hips and those jeans aren't doing his proportions any favors and aren't flattering.

On top of all that, his top block is almost always going too strange when he was wearing jeans that skinny.
