Eating less and moving more will do it.

If you want to keep track and structure it all, calorie counting does work and it really isn't hard to read a packet before you eat from it.

Eat bodyweight in lbs x 10 to lose 1/2lb each week consistently. Weigh yourself and adjust this number weekly. The physical activity will be the icing on the non-existent cake. Bear in mind, physical activity burns less weight than not eating does, everybody overestimates it and online calculators are bullshit.

Frankly, if you are lazy enough to be skinnyfat anyway and need to ask people how to not be fat, I don't think you have much willpower. Don't overdo it, or the lazy fat self you really are will kick back in and you will binge.

i don't understand how you guys can eat so little i'm starving all the fucking time and i mean i'm not hugely overweight but i now have a belly that wasn't there 2 years ago and i try to exercise and eat right but it'll be like:
cereal for breakfast
snack on fruit or veggies during day
moderately sized dinner
keep feeling hungry all evening and snack on fruit, veggies, maybe a granola bar or some yogurt, if i'm hungry enough i'll have a bagel with jam

Maybe you think you are eating enough, but thats simply not true. Log your calorie intake (e.g. myfitnesspal or sth.) and check your daily intake. Then fix it.

I always thought I eat enough and thought I'd had shit tier genetics because of no gains, when actually I was eating 1.800 kcal each day (1,95 m height).

I don't know where you live, but I think it's manageable, even with a tight budget. By larger amounts when there's an offer and put it in the freezer.

I don't know, there's like endless possibilities.. just eat a lot of eggs (boiled, scrambled with bacon and onions, fried egg, ...), oats, good nuts, a lot of potatoes, some tuna (cheap) and rice along with meat.

Beef is expensive, I don't like pork too much, so I basically eat skinless chicken breast in all kinds of variations.

Even with a few ingredients, one can hit 3000 kalories. Just eat a lot. And maybe add a protein shake with a good amount of oats and some almonds, easy 500+ good calories per shake.
