I'm not gonna argue with you about the aesthetics of the shoe itself, personally I don't like them, but hey it's your opinion.

But on the actual "tech" part, they are not tech whatsoever. The shoe is not suited to long walks, running, and it is not durable, nor does it protect very well against the elements.
