/mu/ mostly sucks though, and i feel like the amount of underage users are very, very high.

there is a certain point when you realize having an eclectic, "rare" taste in music means NOTHING other than you know a lot about bands most people don't, and will never care about. it seems like that that point should happen around 18.
it's fun to listen to good music, and look outside top 40, but it doesn't MEAN anything, and nobody is going to really respect you for it.
