the easiest way to put it is to have you compare the shoulders on this saint laurent stuff to the shoulders on this mcqueen jacket. this has rigor, it has shape, it fits, and it demonstrates a lot of skill on the part of the person who drafted it. these slp jackets look like they were picked up at whatever passes for the men's warehouse in france, minutes before the show. they jut out into space and were the model to lift their arms i'm sure they'd resemble dolman sleeves. this is so far removed from the tailoring hedi had under dior homme, while the styling is hardly any different, and so my only guess is that whoever hedi brought in to handle his tailoring is a hack.
