The other day, I found a new store in my city called Stars and Stripes that specializes in heritage workwear and shit. They carry Raleigh, Rogue Territory, and Railcar denim, plus red wing boots, tanner goods, and some really nice shirts and chinos. I seriously want to wear everything in that store, but I'm poor as hell and just spent my last $115 on some N&F. If any of you live in Asheville or Western North Carolina, you should check this place out.

The owners were super chill, though, and we talked about denim for like 10 minutes. I'm going to go back when I can afford to buy something and see if I can get a job.

can someone post some inspo of outfits with jeans like this or nice fit pics. I haven't worn jeans since i was like 4 but i dont want to be a stranger to denim. I went to the levis store today and tried on the 510s and 511s, the 510s were pretty much skintight in the ankle but not terrible, and the 511s looked ok. Basically, what should me first pair of jeans be? Naked and famous? or should i just buy some levis? the levis store was like an hour drive, so i would order them online. If i was to cop N&F, what fit should i go for? I am 5'11", 145 lb, usually wear a 30x32 in chinos. Hear is a fit pic disregard the predistressed wash.

yeah, these jeans were described as "vintage nep selvedge." They turned out not to be selvedge, which I still kind of resent Gilt for, but they are neppy as hell, and they've developed a lot of character in the past year.

Blueowl are pretty spot on for their measurements by the by, and the guys are pretty fucking awesome in the sense that they will actually measure a pair for you just to make sure if you ask. I know for me I am in between sizes, and they have actually taken them time to find me the jeans with the smallest/largest measurements within my size(or sized down) that they have in stock for a few pairs of jeans.

fyi guys I used to be a true 32, i got a 31 in skinny guys left hand twill and they fit like parachute pants, huge and not skinny at all. I would've fit into a 29 or 30 but honestly, the 31 was so wide around my waist I could've probably gone to 29.

My first pair of raw jeans came in today. Since it's my first pair and I know I will fuck something up in the future, I decided to go with Unbranded 301's that I found on sale.

They fit okay, but are a bit tighter than what I expected around the waist (they are size 32) and quads (/fit/ reporting). However my previous jeans were straight cut and were waist size 31 and fit me perfectly.

Should I be worried or will they stretch out more and more as time goes on? I like them but they squeeze my legs a bit too much.
