i know, i bought some stuff in h&m when they first opened a store here. the jacket and pants i bought started literally falling apart.

followed a friend through the mall in sweden. she went to check stuff at h&m and i followed only to be surprised with the noticeable difference in quality. and if i could notice it- a person who knows zero about fabric and sewing, then it's really damn noticeable.

i went through a few more stores in sweden to confirm my discovery. never shopped in h&m at home again. roughly the same prices, but the quality differs so much it's disgusting.

i had a friend who does paperwork for a similar brand clothing chain. he said that all the clothes his company can't sell in their home market (because they don't satisfy the market standards) they ship and sell in shitty countries that don't have defined standards for these things.
