.....the "Fade", in essence, is a trap. It looks great when you get it, but if you ever want to move to a different hairstyle, you have two options: shave your head OR grow it out and look like a fucking clown. Believe me... as that buzzed hair grows straight out, you will look ridiculous. This lasts for approximately 3 months, or until the hair is long enough to be combed down/ tucked behind ears.

In my own case, I started to make my /fa/ even more radical by never getting the length on the top reduced... just the sides. I am now growing my hair out long long long... its starting to look better, but god damn there are some shitty times when u try to get out of it.

I massage my hair with product so that I get a little height at the top, so it doesn't look as thin. (My hair isn't "thinning" but it's thin and sparsely populated compared to normal thick hair. I also have a p. big forehead.)
