You'll stop getting those. Your mind will grind down the novelty of such crises and eventually you'll see them as just one of many takes on an infinitely complex system. Of course, it helps to be doing something meaningful with at least some part of your life.
Knowing there's something better out there and working towards it is a meaningful experience. Countless people do it every day. If you want better, you make yourself better. As you improve, the Universe puts better and sweeter opportunities in your path. Really, it just happens.
My advice to you is to have a plan for what you're going to do *after* you've got the home, family, cash & prizes. You can struggle and acquire your whole life through just for the sake of staying in motion, but you're going to have to answer those basic questions at some point and put that recurring existential quandary to bed once and for all.
No matter how horrific you find the human circus, you're going face that existential crisis one day and say "Fuck It" once and for all, if only because you're tired of it, if only because you have to live your life (fuck that noise).
Oddly enough, I found that life seemed to treat me far gentler upon having pondered and given up on some of the the bigger questions. Maybe it's just that I see things differently lately, but I swear you can pick and choose your anxieties & drama with just a little bit of work. "None" is a perfectly viable option.

This happened with me and my 3 best friends from high school, one is a stoner COD fag, one is a punk/bicyclist, other is a mormon/hypebeast fag, so we got together about 3 weeks ago. We drove 2 hours to vegas and that shit was the most amazing weekend of my life. We didn't speak for like 3 years after high school.

apart from one or two they all dress mfa-level or above.

my circle of friends that go to art and fashion school dress really, really well though. i have to make an effort around them.

I dress fairly well, but my friends always just wear whatever they think is fashionable. I have one that ties up the laces on his hoodie, but leaves it unzipped. They also wear trainers, and trainers are so fucking stupid unless you're exercising.
