are prescription sunglasses worth it or would it be better to just wear contacts and normal sunglasses?

i have astigmatism as well and the downside with contacts for me is that sometimes during certain seasons allergies get really bad and fuck with them every now & then

just debating since sunglasses with prescription are basically twice the price of the regular

I have two pairs too. I like putting one away and then taking the other ones out of my jacket pocket and putting them on immediately. If you keep a completely straight face, keep carrying the conversation and acting nonchalant it really disarms people.
