I usually just frequent /fit/ but I'm getting my hair cut today, can /fa/ suggest me some haircuts that would suit my face? I really am helpless when it comes to fashionable hair but decided that this is the cut where I will try to change that.

Picture very related

S-stop it guys, making me feel all insecure and shit...

Also here is the outcome guys, thanks whoever suggested hitler youth. Asked the hairdresser to do something similar, idk if this is /fa/ approved or but I think it turned out ok.

Improvement or not?

I came home washed out some product I didn't really like the smell of, applied saltwater spray to moist hair, dried of with a towel then applied a matt wax and finished off with a tad bit of hairspray (skyscraper)

I hear all these stories and I have to wonder where are folks with these experiences going? I go to, what I consider, a mid- to up-scale salon and get exactly what I ask for every time. I only pay about $60 and never walk away dissatisfied. Is it just a thing where people are going to cheaper places? People going to older salons instead of ones staffed with younger, more understanding stylists? What is it?

Well, I amortize it in my head. I go for a cut every two months or so, so I think of it as $30 a month, or just $1 a day.

60 bucks for a good cut isn't too bad really, I say you treat yourself to one every 4th month or whatever.

Practice, practice, practice. Maybe start with a set of clippers, learn to fade/taper, and then buy a pair of scissors and learn to use them. You will mess up and look like shit in the beginning, but it's cheap and easy when you get better, and I get compliments all the time because I don't have to rely on an idiot barber to mess up my hair.
