also has a lot to do with the fact thats its always warm and everyone always drives. clothes are just something that people in new york are more interested in overall, for a variety of reasons.

Personnally, I don't. I do not want to be trapped into one particular style. Some days, I'll wear rick and loose stuff, mostly black and/or white, but some days, I like to pull of a little workwear style. I don't know, I just like my style to be multiple. I wear as different clothing as I can, not to choose a way of dressing at the end, but just because I like all of them. Gothninja, Preppy, Workwear, simple yet clean, Fuckinglazyshit, all of them.

I don't know if anybody share my point of view or if I have made myself understood.

Not OP but geos were the first thing i bought because i really liked them and i didn't wear them for like 6 months because i didn't have much to go with them, copped lots of basics and now i feel like they're not as much of a stand out piece in my fits but more complimentary. I wore Raf velcros while building my wardrobe, I think they're a nice bridge into "expensive" sneakers and I'd suggest OP does the same, especially with the black rafs dropping again in a/w

I a guy walking around in the worst budget ninja ever the other day, he was wearing black jeans with a cheap primark t-shirt that didnt drape and this weird asymmetric yesstyle looking black hoody that he kept adjusting because the fabric was super thin and a scruffy pair of black vans.
