If you give us more information on your style we might be able to say more, but next to maybe Paris, and for select styles Tokyo and Milan, you're walking on the most /fa/ soil on Earth. The trees grow selvedge leaves, the streets are asymmetrical and bias cut (no, really) and everyone is dressed to be or become somebody.

While you're in NYC you should consider taking the 7 train a few stops out to queens and getting a look at the Five Points graffiti museum. I'm sad to say that after protests, negotiations and hubbub galore, the whole building has been bought outright by developers and will be turned into luxury condos soon.
This building was the ever changing epicenter of graffiti art in new york and by some accounts, the world. People came from all over to paint it, and it's beautiful & free. See it before you leave town, OP. You'll never have another chance and you deserve to be floored by it's beauty.
