Nothing fundamentally wrong with them. If you like the stype cop away

>> No.6335782

aparently they hold up better to extreme weathers compared to IRs, because of the diff sole material or something

only downside would be the toe, ive seen people rock em irl and they look bulbous af (yes, kind of like clown shoes) so maybe size down one at most and never wear skinny bottoms with em

They won't hold up per se but are better on snow because they have deeply patterned commando sole, where as IRs have absolutely smooth sole. Other than that IRs are generally more casual and suitable for proper wear and tear.

I've heard that there are effective techniques for reducing toe-boxes.

Anyone know what they are?

I wear cuts similar to Levi's 511, will they look circuscore?

Clown shoe thing is /fa/ troll, it's ridiculous. Almost any boot looks bulbous when photographed from floor upwards. From human POV they look absolutely fine. Pic related, monstrous clown shoes aka Iron Rangers straight from box. before the toe has flattened one bit.

fukn gorgeous m8. how long was the break in process

I never got blisters or anything, they felt bit stiff for mayne a week but quickly became super comfy. It's good idea to oil them with boot oil before starting to use them, it softens the leather and hastens the break in process. You never know how long the pair has sat on a shelf somewhere.

ive legit seen your typical lookbook manboy wearing beckmans irl. its a waste really

>boots tucked into skinny cheap monday-core black jeans
>parka two sizes too big
>comme des fuckdown tee
>gold linx and bracelets

it looks putrid as shit but those beckys look amazing tho, but yeah they look clunky af with skinnies

About the alleged bulkiness of IR, I have since replaced my IRs with RW 1907 which is twice as big and bulky. IR toe box is tiny compared to these moc toes.

do you recommend the red wing brand for boot oil and other shoecare products? ive got the handsewn chukka and the 875s that really needs some cleaning

RW stuff is fine, bit expensive but at least it wont ruin your shoe.
