My favorite pair of jeans are Levi's 514s, but I don't think they're 'perfect'. Anyone suggest a similar cut from a different brand?

The only thing I don't like about 514s is that they taper so much from the knee down that it leaves the knees looking baggy.

working on my unbranded 201s and my petit standards at the mo, might hold on to them for years so im prob washing them twice a year tops cause id rather have long lasting jeans with decent fades than having to 'retire' them because of crotch blowouts and whatnot

I had a pair of 511's and they were too loose.

i own 12 pairs of n&f, one is ruined, another two dont fit, another is a duplicate (supplier error that cost me nothing)
out of the remaining 8, one is brown, ones beije and ones solid black, ones green and ones blue linen and ones grey
so out of that 8 only two are really regular looking blue jeans, and even then theyre not regular looking blue jeans, because one is 21 oz elephants and the other is big slub model (which is also the duplicate so im selling the other)

i dont condone owning so many pants in either such similar fits let alone the same brand, i just got obsessive for a few months last year. everytime i thought i needed a new colourway, id think 'n&f must have it!'
no complaints though, its pretty robust and relatively high quality for its price point, i just wish i bought two or three less and saved up for some ih or samurai. but not apc, theres nothing apc does that n&f cant.

weirdguys usuqlly look bad with boots unless theyre very slim, nice round toebox (docs dont have) and a slim cork/wood/leather sole (again docs dont have)
the only non slim sole that looks nice with a slim pant is crepe imo.

In regards to the swagfag thing, I'm in NZ so I don't know what the general feeling about stax is here. Since KTT came I've started liking stacks a bit more though which probably isn't a good thing... I got these pants yesterday and my mum's a tailor so if I get the urge I can get them taken up.

I like the way h&m jeans / pants fit me but the quality is dubious and have had stitching come apart only after a month or so. Any brands that fit similarly and are better made?
