Every time I bought a cheap item to come into a "game" I end up regretting it and wanting the expensive one unless its something I just don't wear - I don't go out much without shoes though.

Look into getting some german army trainers. I got mine for £35 posted and I love them, one of the best ultra-cheap shoes around I reckon. Probably the best. Not extremely comfortable, but definitely wearable. I wouldn't want to wear them every single day though.

can't really get baller shoes new that are cheaper than CP's. CP's are practically starter shoes, then move on from there.
