Not the guy who you replied to but I take you don't have much experience about boots?

I have owned tons of boots, including RW Iron Rangers and I can tell you the toe box in the is nothing special, definitely not large by any means. It's propably close to avarage. It's not big even in RW standards, and compared to say Wolverine 1k Miles it's even considerably smaller.

Don't shop for work boot inspired boots then, but dressier ones like chelsea boots, wingtip ankle boots, etc. I guess you don't want desert boots since they would be the obvious choice with your requirements.

I'd like to bring this thread back up - I'm looking for essentially the same thin as OP, but with suede material.

Honestly, it's been said but not well defended; Buy the Clark's and get them resoled.

Clark's are of decent quality provided you're not purchasing factory seconds or anything like that. Resoles, depending on what you're looking for, should be around $40, give or take $15 or so - that's not a bad investment at all, and not much more, to get you exactly what you'd like from a boot.
