what to wear for starbucks interview ??!
i wore this to an interview at UO and got called back for a second interview (unfortunately i can't go because i decided to move home last minute) but obviously starbucks isn't really fashion creative or as liberal as UO? so i have no idea what to wear and i really need more than want the job.
if i put a black blazer over this outfit will it look ok? i dont want to feel too dressed, but also i want to wear something that fits in my style and not just throw on typical interview clothes.
any suggestions would help
also how to wear hair: down, or in an up-do ?

or i could wear this.
(sorry if most of you have already seen these outfits...)
but Im thinking OR this outfit.. except with the shoes in the previous picture, and untuck my shirt and adjust the skirt a little (it can change shape/length, i fold it over at the top)

>> No.6253662

i would defs let you serve me a coffee. probably no bra with that top would be best though

it's starbucks.

if you're willing to slave for minimum wage and female then you're already overqualified.

it's actually starting $9, not including tips every week. and they give health insurance for part time workers

this.
Considering you also look attractive, you're practically already hired.

Can't you post a fit of this? the:

i also applied as a beauty advisor at macys and i kind of hope i get an interview for that. i feel like i know so much more about makeup than the average person and i could be good at that job. but if you work at macys you can only wear black which really sucks

and im going to apply to hostess and receptionist jobs, i would apply as a waitress because they prob make a ton of tips and get paid more than hourly from it, but i dont know if i could train myself to act like a waitress. i think i would be intimidated walking to tables of people and serving them -_-

Okay then.
Outfit 2 is fine as is, I don't think you should use the shoes from Outfit 1.
Fuck, it's hard for me to visualize if this is good or not but how about:
Outfit 2, lower skirt(that thing you write) and untuck shirt with hair in an up-do?

As long as the money rolls in, who cares?

>but i dont know if i could train myself to act like a waitress. i think i would be intimidated walking to tables of people and serving them -_-
You'd probably get some sort of "training" beforehand. Besides, there's no reason to be intimidated -- they're just people, not faggots out to put you down. Just relax and take it easy.

Or maybe:
Outfit 2, lower skirt, keep shirt tucked in?

its honestly not that short though. it reaches the end of my fingertips which is like high school skirt requirements. i think it just looks shorts because its high waisted. or maybe thats what you guys mean, im wearing it up too high waisted ? which is probably true actually

>> No.6253731

Put your hair in an up-do. Seems more sanitary and "professional" or whatever.

>> No.6253765

>>6253731
okkkkkkk. i only know how to do like 2 up dos because i never wear my hair up, and one of those is a basic ballerina bun lol. but yeahhh, thats prob true

>> No.6253776

>>6253711
Yeah, right now the skirt is making your legs look really long, which is :) , but at the expense of your torso, which is :( . I think if you alter the skirt to be a bit lower waisted it might lessen the short torso look a bit while keeping some of the long leg appearance. You could probably also achieve similar results by untucking the shirt so it looks more like pic 1, but I'm not sure which I prefer. I think I'm leaning towards the untucked for pure look, but it may come off as too casual. Maybe add the blazer and see if that makes it look more "dressy".

>> No.6253783

>>6253776
alright i try that. so red skirt, less high waist, possibly shirt untucked, black flats, possibly a blazer (it might be too hot though) and hair in an updo

>> No.6253792

heyyyy, it's purplehair-chan

>> No.6253793

>>6253783
Yeah, something like that. Just play around with it until it looks good to you. There's not as much we can say without seeing what some of the alterations look like.
