Hey /fa/, it's time to replace a lot of my closet, a lot of my clothes are getting hole-y. I'm making a borderline effort to improve my appearance. Here's where you might start hating me, maybe. I don't know.

I wear camo pants often. I variate patterns, and they're good condition, not like the Home Depot guys you see wearing dirty, beat to shit old woodland pants. I keep mine nice, and usually wear retired or foreign patterns.

Does this make me a bad person? I love the durability and the amount of pockets/ how large they are. I'm just unaware of how spergy it might make me look.

Pic related, VN Tiger Stripe, one of my favorites.

Not a necessity. However, the pants are generally very durable, and have plenty of pocket space, which I value as a trait, and they can be had at thrift stores for ten bucks apiece. I universalize my wardrobe; I wear my work clothes for leisure, and vice-versa. Milsurp pants are durable enough for work, and comfy enough for leisure.

>>6239751
Yeah. I love the history behind it and all.

[tl;dr] When America entered the Vietnam War, they noticed some of the ARVN (good guys native to the country) scouts had odd camo patterns, while the US soldiers largely wore Olive Drab uniforms. The ARVN pattern blended in to the jungles so well, LRRPs (US recon guys) started using the camo on outings, with stellar results. Eventually it was standardized for LRRPs, and the pattern still sees some (vey rare) use today. [/tl;dr]

Fucking hell. I bought some Tiger strip pants from some surplus store on Manhattan back in 97 (probably Uncle Sams outfitters).
I wanted to use them while camping but I never went and I didn't have the balls to wear them in the city.
Fast forward a few years and I see them coming into fashion so I dig them out of my old suit case and realise i'm not a size 30 anymore :(

Where to cop old somewhat cheap German WW2 camo stuff? I'd love to have a pair of wehrmacht splinter camo pants, or a jacket or something. It's hard to find stores for that kind of stuff that aren't Polish or essentially the internet equivalent of a car trunk sale.
