Is tucking your jeans into your boots /fa/?

It depends on the boot and jeans, personally I prefer stacks or to roll them up to just above the boot

They're like one slight step above skinny jeans so it doesn't look like a jumbled mess, and they are Doc Marten 8-eye boots.

Going for a skinhead look eh?

Sort of, I only wear dark button down shirts and I do shave my head but I would never wear braces or tuck my shirt in, it makes me feel uncomfortable, like I'm trapped in my own clothing
>>6209409
I do actually. Just didn't want to do something aspy. You know how there are some un-self aware people who like wearing fedoras.

>> No.6211724

i like the silhouette better tucked in

>> No.6211730

I like it on girls but I would never do it

>> No.6211797

Yeah, definitely if they're higher than 6". Nicer silhouette. Overall though I think jeans over boots makes you look like an old man, but that's just my VIEW ENNIT. Also ALWAS with combat boots. I remember a while ago there was someone who said to someone to wear trousers over jackboots. Top fucking lel.

>Nicer silhouette

Same here. In my opinion it depends on how the upper part of the silhouette looks like. If it's rather loose, don't tuck it in. If it's tight, it looks better when it's tucked in. My personal opinion, though.

I'll go so far as to say sometimes if it's cold I do the socks over trousers thing and that creates a bit of stacking too. Looks alright as long as the boots are laced tightly on your feet.

Also, don't mean to hijack the thread but what do you think about leather gaiters? As a, thing? Something to work into an outfit. Been pondering about it because I've got some leather at uni that's just sitting about

I like how they look, they create a nice silhouette as well. Go for it, even if plebs are going to object them.

leather is going to be a lot harder to work with if it's just on the ankles

look into double buckle boots if you want leather gaiters

These are the later black models because there's no seam between the sewn on gaiters and the upper; I also have a brown pair which are in horrendous shape- got them from a carboot but they're more of a nice looking paperweight. Still on the lookout for the early tan models from the 50s/60s

I missed a pair of these in absolute immacualte condition a few weeks ago by something stupid like £1. The brown ones I have are a two piece upper like those but a lightly different model. I think later than those

They are quite heavy, and also quite clunky so I would advise sizing down. But overall pretty comfy with wooly socks or an insole. Did me well over winter walking through fields and stuff when I was taking photos. And at about £30 you can't complain

As an armyfag, i fucking love the look of bloused boots.

WW2 era tucking your those OD dress pants into brown jump boots? or uniforms used to be fly as fuck. oh! nazi's had damn good uniforms too.
