Lets start some raw denim chat

>> No.6151070

Thoughts on ROY?
My only raw denim experience is with N&F its been 6 months and I've decided never to buy from them again.

Really? What has been the problem? Was planning on buying some this weekend.

Just not worth the price, I mean... they're fine but go somewhere better.
I've been more happy with $40 Levis.
And I got weird guys, the rise is WAY too low.

I want a slim fitting pair of jeans that are NOT low rise. Where might I find a pair?

I've tried N&F like >>6151086
and I decided that low rise doesn't look good on me.

>> No.6151199

>>6151160
i tried them on, pretty fucking nice
if i ever get back into the denim game, id prolly get those or some pure blue japans or some sammys

Japanese brands like the above tend to do the highcontrast/quickfade in their raw denim

I love my jeans low, so I bought Somet jeans both the slim cut and straight cut. Love them.

>> No.6151377

Hey, do you guys have any experience with the Unbranded 101 jeans? Are they worth the $70? Are they low or mid rise?

>> No.6151383

My first pair was a pair of Levis which I don't really like to count since they weren't labeled as raw and were thin as shit. THe first I ever took seriously was a pair of momotaros that I wore like crazy. The fades took fucking forever to show up at all and eventually I fell and tore a hole in the knee and don't wear them anymore because they're too thick for summer. Just copped APC petit standards and I'm in love. They faded very fast and are very nice for summer. I plan on getting them hemmed and tapered then I'll wear them 24/7 for summer and patch up my momos and wear them for winter.

I've been told that Unbranded is the same as N&F just without the patch, is that true? Interested to know, however I fucked up and bought them too big and then I had to pull them up to my belly button to have them fit or else have that horrible look with a belt pulling them in tl;dr they were fucking aweful and tapered no less.
