Okay /fa/ here's the deal. I'm looking for some shoe recommendations. The catch: I have a lingering ankle issue so whatever shoes I get need to have some good support. I'm sick of hiking boots.

Especially with redwings man, I can tell you from personal experience. And that's with the vibram soles. If your ankles are really that bad you can still be /fa/ in Nikes, and they are durable, the Nike Free has lasted me for 3 years. Otherwise bite the bullet if you think you can and cop RW beckman from their heritage collection.

I own a pair in parasailing, they have no support, even if you're strapped in to the highest eyelet, but they're the flattest shoes I own and are really comfortable. I don't think they'll do you any good though.

Depends on how thick, there is plenty of room to fit in those converse but they're made of canvas so I don't know if the tongue would bulge.
