i don't have friends because of the way i dress

All of my friends are plebs and ones that think they're hot shit dress like dads.

They think my style (patterned shirts mainly) is too out there.

glorious hair and a flamboyant style leads people to think he's gay, he then has sex with their girlfriends. He tries fashionwise, but makes a lot of mistakes. He usually wears a button down, jeans (usually pre faded), and bright adidas. I respect his style because we've been friends for such a long time (tried to see who could cop the most adidas in high school) and his style works, he's swimming in college girls.

kind of chubby/bear mode with glasses and a shaved head. dark jeans or chinos with a navy/grey/tan button down or shirt of those colors. new balances or asics or vans providing a color pop. not a bad style, very safe.

feeds into ghetto trends. snapback, plain black shirt, ray bans, camo shorts/navy jeans and jordans/nikes. Basically whatever is "cool" to the commoners of the hood. Tries to step up with a button down every now and then

street-prep core. Urban dadcore. most of my money goes to various shoes. I'm perfectly fine in a white button down, colored chinos/black pants, and nice sneakers.

My friends say I'm best dressed, after me is probably the beautiful one. worst dressed is probably the hood guy because I don't like ghetto trends.

Friend 1: can at least match clothes but doesn't have enough outfits so has a one week cycle of clothes
Friend 2: blank tee and blue jeans, has man tits
Friend 3: graphic tees, nice fitting pants and nice adidas shoes
Friend 4: can look really good on somedays, others just wears slim jeans or nike shorts, with a sweatshirt and a shirt over the sweatshirt
Me: Street- prep. chino pants, blank tee and button down with vans or roshes
These 4 say i'm the best dressed out of all of all friends total and one of the top at the whole school, behind 3 guys I can't even compare myself to. Problem is all my friend dress so bad so it looks like im uber tryharding

Wears nothing but vidya(Halo, Minecraft, etc.), band(he has a shitty taste in music ADTR, Avenged Sevenfold, etc), and ugly shirts in general. He once told me that Hot Topic is a good store because it's a good place to pick up band shirts. He also wears baggy ass jeans and shitty running shoes that look like they came out of Wal-Mart.

Nike socks, Nike running shoes or Vans(he runs and swims a lot), Short sleeved shirt from a competition or Hollister. Every now and then he'll wear a button up and a good pair of jeans and will look really nice.

He's a tad bit chubbier than Nathan and I (Sebastian - 162 lbs, Nathan - 141 lbs , Me - 128 lbs). Peruvian. Typically wears a pair of Adidas low tops with American Eagle jeans and a solid color shirt that he wears a pretty nice varsity jacket/parka/windbreaker over.

Shitty polo, light wash baggy jeans, and shitty Nike shoes. Nothing more, nothing less.

They all dress the same. Skinny jeans, Toms/Topsiders/Vans, and Plain/Hollister/etc.

Usual Circle: Nathan, Sebastian, occasionally Ahmed, Grills, and I

Outsider: Le Rxdditor(Kory), he has his own circle of shitty/aspie friends.

What purpose does this thread serve other than to attract elitist fags who look down on their friends who aren't interested in fashion when they themselves dress like basic bitches

i dont really care though because it's not over the top because it fits in with everyone else in my town and in comparison i'm better dressed.

We go to a prep school with a dress code, so all it really comes down to is who tries harder.
Dress code is a shirt with a collar, any long pants except for jeans and cargo pants, and no outerwear with letters. It's a highschool, and we're not the popular kids or the nerdy kids, we're stuck in a popularity-purgatory

Dresses in well-fitting patterned shirts or polos that are a little bit too small. Pants always fit well, but has one pair of orange pants I can't stand. Sways to a very preppy style.

Doesn't try that hard, but will occasionally dress well. Usually it's just the same pair of sperrys with baggy shorts and a fleece.

In the winter he dresses really well with well-fitting shirts and individualistic outerwear, but now that it's getting warmer it has mostly been underarmor polos and ill fitting shorts with tube socks.

my friends all dress really boring

one friend is hella tumblrcore girl with the floral docs and the dyed hair and kinda 'earthy' color scheme w/ dorky sweaters and skater skirts and lots of piercings etc.

my bf dresses really nondescript just solid tshirts dark denim sneakers but everything fits nice so i think it looks good

other friend wears typical nerdwear new balances momjeans and threadless tees. i appreciate how little he cares.

another guy i think considers himself a fashion guy but i think he dresses kind of typical socal bro. he rocks the HY and he's really into suits. he used to wear fedoras (in a preppy way not a neckbeard way tho) but my friends made fun of fedoras so much that he stopped lol

my other friends are mostly girls who dress so boring i can't even think of an outfit they typically wear

i clearly don't seek out friends who care aobut fashion. i don't think i come across as someone who cares either, it's kind of a guilty pleasure confined mostly to the internet. i can't afford anything i like anyway so i just dress really basic. it seems weird to consider myself best dressed, but obviously i dress according to my own tastes moreso than anyone else so i guess i'll go with that.

I'm too patrician to have friends

I usually wear dark wash, slim jeans or chinos and a button down oxford or blank t shirt. Shoes are either Sanuks, all black low top nikes or those polo chukkas.

My friends are even more of a disaster than I am. One wears Nat Nast shirts and Izod jeans mostly, one wears ill-fitting jeans and button down polos, and the rest wear standard frat attire

I had a friend who wore a fedora every time we hit a club. Little straw one. Poor guy couldn't even dance.
The thing is, he's somewhat handsome and very confident - doesn't doubt himself for a second. He left with a new girl almost every time.
