I'm considering buying them and then just cutting the logo off. Looks like it's sewn fabric onto the leather tab. The second one is an okay alternative to the 1000 mile Lacer which is almost $450, but the logo on that is leather.

Neither am I, I've been searching for boots off and on for about a month now. I have the money to cop those but I'm not sure if they're actually worth 450.

Funny story actually, I got mine from another country so they were about $500USD. I got them (they were size 11.5, I usually wear 11) found out the hard way they run EXTREMELY large so they looked ridiculous. And man, I was down, I had been looking for the perfect boot forever an absolutely LOVED these, they were so huge though they would slip halfway off even when tied up super tight. I gave up on them and they sat collecting dust for like 2 months in the box. I eventually contacted a few friends and people I know (I work in fashion and knew a few people in alterations) and eventually through a friend of a friend got in touch with someone that is a supervisor at Dayton in Canadaland. The lady said they rarely if ever do it but she would resize them and completely resole them just to my foot. Dayton sent me a sheet asking for every possible measurement of my foot from my ankle girth to the exact length from heel to every toe on each foot. I sent the boots off and about a month and a half later they came back perfectly fitted for my feet and you can't even tell they were ever altered. However, this came at a price of about $300 so all in all with shipping the boots were about $1,000.

Honestly dude, you're not gonna find them except for people reselling them. I found mine so long ago from a random ass boutique in another country and they only had one pair left. I literally scoured the globe looking for them. Can't speak for the brown version but black is completely gone in the distressed leather. I've seen a few polished black leather ones here and there but they look like shit. Just call or email dayton and ask for information on their service boot. It looks extremely similar and costs a lot less than the W+H version.
