Whoever told you that has no clue about the company. They do outdoor stuff, and they do it well. The more fashionable outdoor stuff would be Timberland, and flashy outdoor would be Napapijri. They already do that, but their core business is the outdoor stuff. That will not change anytime soon. The entire parent company is making the bulk of their money in outdoor and action sports - VANS, Reef, Timberland, Napapijri, Eastpak, Jansport, etc., they put in a bid for Billabong, why would they ditch the technical outdoor business? Contractually, they can only sell Purple Label in Japan.

And any collaboration Supreme does with anybody can old be sold by Supreme or authorized wholesale accounts.

The whole point of smaller product lines is that you DON'T want them marketed to a huge audience that doesn't even want or understand the product. This is akin to complaining that you can't buy gourmet cheeses and truffles at Wal-mart.

You can't be serious with all this. I'm not saying that they're not keeping up with their technical lines, but you've got to be an idiot to think they don't understand their presence as a fashion brand. You probably think that New Balance doesn't understand they're a fashion brand as much as a running brand too - especially since they don't sell the collabs on the NB site.

Yes, that is what i said, that is why these are gimmicks. tNF does not make any bog money with these little lines. The money is in highly technical outdoor gear. You can hike up Mt. everest decked out completely in TNF, including sleeping bags and tents. That is where the big money is for the brand, not the little stuff. Similar to Vans, they have a ton of gimmicks to increase brand recognition, but the bacon is not in graphic shoes or limited edition beanies.
