hm funny you say that, i talked to someone who went to parsons 2 days ago in one of my classes, and she was saying dont go to parsons.

she said the most of the graduates couldnt sew well, had horrible patternmaking ability, and couldnt drape for shit. it seems like the 2 things it has going for it are connections and sketching classes.

fit on the other hand has a worse reputation, but killer patternmaking/sewing/draping classes.

not really weighing the costs of the schools, more the curriculum.

this is the first time entering /fa/. Wow dude you way off. I went to stay in NYC for only 5 days three~ months ago. And often dressing what you guys would call a "goth ninja" myself, I find it odd that you haven't seen at least one. I went to Rick Owens flagship store and Atelier right next to it and went around in that neighborhood (can't remember what it was called, but it was on Hudson Street somewhere - and yes I know it's long). There were lots of people dressed like this, so maybe you should just open your eyes.
