I think the image entails more about Sruli Recht's sort of inspiration derivative than anything else.

These ideas are sort of intrinsic of his older AW collections (10-12) but recently he's become more ambitious in design and concept...and generally everything.

on th rel though I think carol is more concerned w/ human anatomical shapes and synchronising clothing in order to alter human anatomy or provide some sort of function in that sense while Sruli is more based in fantasy and fulfilling a idea or telling a story through design.

Having said that though I'm pretty sure my jacket is perforated in a similar way to Langer's Lines.

That's what most art criticism boils down to. "I Think".
Sure, you can't draw hard and fast lines, a lot of it is nebulous, but it's still important. Besides, a lot of great art just reflects those who behold it, and thus the act of appreciating them is one of self discovery.
