it is a bath with goat milk soap,
a Babycat Yves Saint Laurent for public sex or Vanilla Barka Amouage if going to church followed up by having espresso and croissant in the morning,
and,
if at home,
i prefer Encens et Lavande Serge Lutens,

ill just have a bath and clean shave,

This is false. While fragrance isn't as important as looks, personality, height, fashion style, fitness and others it can affect people's impressions of you. It can move an experience that otherwise would have been nice or pleasant to charming.

>> No.18113004

How poor is poor? Fragrances have gone up in price a lot since the pandemic. There used to be a fair amount of nice or pleasant fragrances you could find for $60 ro $70 bucks now it is rare to find one under $100. Also a single bottle of fragrance that is say 100 mL can last a fairly long time. 100 mL is about 1,000 sprays, and spraying 2 sprays each time you wear a fragrance is fairly reasonable. At that rate it would last you 500 days of wearing it everyday.

Is the EdP similar to the EdT? The Parfum version is noticeably different than the EdT version. There are almost no floral notes in opening of the Parfum version, and the Citrus notes are more prominent in the EdT as well. The Parfum has a stronger, smokier leather scent comparably as well. Also the sweetness in the Parfum version is softer than the EdT. I've never smelled the EdP version so I'm wondering if it is just a slightly different version of the EdT.

I really like it for what it is, a sweet vanilla and iris bomb, but it’s also pretty linear and heavy, it never does anything exciting with the drydown.

OG feels far more flexible about when to wear it, as it works well in all but the hottest summer days, while Le Parfum is very much a cold season special. Also, OG has a nice opening of mint that I have always liked, it feels like an underutilized note in general and unfortunately not every attempt to use it succeeds (for example, Eros is nasty).

This one's really nice. It triggers a strange scent memory for me. There used to be a ride called Maelstrom at Epcot that apparently they replaced with some shitty ride based on Frozen, but it used to be this neat dark ride that takes you through a Scandinavian fantasy setting during Viking times. It had a very specific scent they would pump to enhance the enchanted forest vibe, and it smelled a bit like this. As a kid I never would have known what it was, but they were clearly utilizing some kind of vetiver-based scent. Come to think of it, a lot of their rides had very specific scents to them.

They literally douse you with aroma-chemicals to trigger certain psychological responses. Disney is a terrifying corporation.
>Around the park, devices known as Smellitzers shoot scents toward passersby. For example, a Smellitzer near the Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen blasts the smell of sweet treats onto Main Street.
>"The Smellitzer was named after the famous WWI shell launcher, the howitzer," Gavin Doyle, a Disney enthusiast behind the site Disney Dose, told Insider in 2015. "Instead of launching deadly shells, it launches glorious aromas."

that's the only one I've smelled to be honest. But it doesn't really have a strong smell on its own. It's kind of a weird one in that gives you this sort of ozonic aura that people seem to enjoy, but is very transparent and ghostly. It's been described as more of a feeling than a scent. I wouldn't necessarily go that far, it does have a detectible smell which is a bit like tea leaves, but it is very light.

In a weird way it kind of reminds me of the feeling of Silver Mountain Water by Creed despite not smelling even remotely the same. That's another extremely light and borderline undetectable fragrance, but instead of doing the light fluffy thing Molecule 01 does, it kind of tickles your nostrils a bit. It's a bit like inhaling cold air. You might actually like that one too, but I do not recommend it because it's overpriced even at discounters. It has some clones though. Most of them aren't very good. I haven't tried Armaf Sillage, people say that one's good. But people also say a lot of shitty armafs are good so I don't trust them.

Molecule 01 is based on Iso E Super (or allegedly their own special captive version of ISO 2 Super) which smells sort of like pencil shavings and which most people (if they aren't totally anosmic to it from the start) go anosmic to very quickly. They are interesting from the perspective of being an accessible way of smelling single aromachemicals, so just look up what the other aroma chemicals are supposed to smell like if you are interested.

No projection, no longevity and the scent to me smells exactly like Lysol Lemon Blast All Purpose Cleaner or the sanitizer wipes they make with the same scent.

That last part, however, is not a complaint. I love all citrus notes and the Lysol smell was very prevalent in my (and probably some others in Gen Z) childhood as it was used to clean most surfaces in the classrooms that this fragrance takes me back to.

It didn't last more than an hour for me and the projection is pretty much non-existent.

I'd love to wear this daily as a nice, squeaky clean fragrance but with vastly disappointing projection and longevity and a refreshing but prosaic scent I can only justify owning a sample vial of this product.

I wouldn't pay more than $25 for this and really can't think of a use for it other than maybe a bathroom spray.

This smells like freshly mowed grass, SWEET GRASS if there were such a thing. Actually, a synthetic rendition of sweet grass. Also, it's sour in a dank, unpleasant way. I have to agree with anon's review just a few posts up about everything. I can smell why people call it aquatic, but it doesn't account for intense peppery top which is the central feature of the scent, aside from the cloying citrus. Together it just smells like grass. Reminds me of Verace Eau Fraiche a bit.

This scent is completely different from 1 Million, and yet they share the same quality of smelling like hairspray. Synthetic and cloying, it's a big mystery to me why this is popular.

Yes, I have been fashionmaxxing my entire life. Always try to look my best because I am very insecure and got complimented once in my entire life, while I had my buddies wear fucking cargo shorts, trekking shoes that were randomly by the door because they were hiking the day before get compliments on how "good" they smell, or how nice they look.
It is all about handsomeness. If you think about it that way, it all makes sense. When I approach women I never give a shit about her clothes and only compliment it because I feel it is kind of creepy to start talking about her facial features out of the blue.
I just feel like a retard for figuring it out so late. Still maxxing because it is a shield I hide my hideous body behind.

Deodorant is a meme. I stopped using it a year ago and I only use water when washing my armpits. Soap fucks up the bacteria and then you're required to use deodorant to neutralize the PH or something so it won't stink (they sell you something that cause problems and then sell you the solution). If you just leave it be and wash with water you should have just a light natural musky smell.

Well, I’ve finally finished all the exhibits at the zoo. They’re interesting.

Will probably pick up at least one full bottle by them, maybe a travel spray or two if I end up liking some of the others I plan to test more extensively.

And to >>18110457 here are my reviews of Seahorse and Squid, mind you I am still quite novice in discerning scents.

Seahorse - Opens… oddly. The only way I can think to describe it would be “Synthetic Salt” but it has an aromatic borderline sweet association with it as well. Powdery too. At 30 min I no longer get the weird salt smell, but it’s still powdery aromatic. Not bad. Mostly linear at 1H, leaning powdery now, not so much aromatic. Linear at 2H, def powdery. Linear at 3H and still going pretty strong.

Squid - Opens as a spicy aquatic scent, not bad, but a bit weird. I keep gravitating toward the word smoky but that’s not right. Flint, it’s like the semi “burnt” smell of metallic flint being struck. It’s also occurring to me that I wonder if this is what people say Molecule 01 smells like, pencil shavings. Linear at 30 min, metallic pencil shavings, perhaps less aquatic. Linear at 1H, maybe a touch more faint. Linear at 2H. Linear at 3H and going strong. Over all, quite interesting but not something I think I’d wear. Also, projected very well the whole time.

Yeah I’m not big on the earthy fruity stuff, don’t imagine I’d care for the original Bat either. And as I said, Squid is okay, Panda was lower mid for me as well, not bad but not great, basically green spicy.

My top six from a single wear of each, (in order) were Penguin, Rabbit, Koala, Macaque Fuji Apple, Harvest Mouse, and Trex.

And I list top six solely so I can include Trex, which I really wanted to like more than I did. It was good, very enjoyable, but it just didn’t live up to the (over)hype unfortunately.

I’ll give it credit though, it’s more wearable than Tonnerre which I also like but don’t get to use often.

As long as you don't have particularly bad BO, baking soda works to neutralize odors. You need to bathe regularly for perfume to have a positive effect. It's absolutely vile when someone who clearly reeks tries to cover it up like it's a shower in a can or think they don't stink and wear cologne on top of their week old ball musk. Don't go more than 3 days without a shower. You don't necessarily need to use soap unless you're in manual labor/sports/are otherwise sweaty/dirty. There are cheap "dupe" brands of perfume that smell nice for $20-50, Swiss Arabian is my preference, but I like ouds. That might be too much for someone starting out. Nautica Blue is $17 and is a nice basic daily wear. Similar to Old Spice shampoo. Old Spice shampoo also works for smelling okay on a budget since it tends to linger for about 2 hours after a shower. It's like wearing cologne without the commitment.
