Need an advice, bros.

I'm 32 and I feel too old for Eros edt. It's pleasant but it's too sweet and loud for my taste.
Now, I've been told that edp and parfum are more matured, which one should I get?
The Macy's near me just closed down and sephora doesn't have edp and parfum samples

the general consensus seems to be that Eros Flame is the better one. honestly though, I think it's time to move on if it's too sweet for you. there are a lot of fragrances with similar vibes but less sweetness. have you tried Le Male?

Sorry the best advice is that it takes time and you will stop being so self-conscious overtime. But it does happen, especially if you just keep chatting with women. Try to talk to her a bit like she is a bro, just avoid banter, at least from you to her. Women can feel pretty bad from even mild friendly insults from guys. If you talk to her focus on her and what she is saying and what she is feeling when she talks. Women like attention. Also you have good instincts about not getting drunk.

Just don't overspray. In one of the frequently posted images in this thread a long-standing recommendation is between 1-3 sprays. If you want to be more certain don't do more than 2 sprays. I would suggest 1 spray on each side of the neck. As far as good neutral smelling fragrance I don't really have a good suggestion, but look for things that people describe as 'versatile' or 'good for all occasions," or "Office-friendly."

I kind of want a leather fragrance since I don't have one currently. I figure spring and summer would be a good time to buy since they are 'off-season'. I don't want a very heavy leathery scent though just a softer yet definitely noticeable leather but that also has floral notes and just a little bit of sweetness.

Medium plus for me means that it survives a workday, but doesn’t project that much at the end of it. It just and just makes 8 hours, although obviously it’s very subtle at the end. But I have a pretty low bar for what I consider ”surviving”, so yeah, not necessarily everyone would say that it survives 8h.

My Ombre Leather is the non-parfum round bottle edition, not private blend. Sounds like you need to demo it, because it sounds like what you want, a pretty realistic leather fragrance that gets gentler with time and at least for me it ends up having a very slight raspberry-ish scent on dry down. It’s not on notes, but that’s what I personally get out of it, although leather is the main attraction from start to end.

>Less strong leather note? Or other notes that are added?
neither. it's avant-garde, the leather note is extremely dominant and synthetic like pleather, so aggressive it borders on rubber. yet, it's beautiful.
>Christophe Laudamiel is, among many other things, a trained chemist (MIT) and a live wire of epic intensity. He is also arguably the most inventive creator of accords working today. His former employer IFF owes him an enormous debt of gratitude; at every trade show for years, the IFF tent demonstrated a dozen or so accords incorporating proprietary materials, all done by him. Going from one to the other was like pushing buttons on exhibits at a science museum. Each performed a startling dance in the Platonic space of smells to illustrate a law of nature. Laudamiel’s take on perfumes is wonderfully seditious, and probably elicits equal parts exasperation and respect in commercial perfumery circles. He now at last has his own firm, The Zoo, and I pray it succeeds.

The initial, striking impression is a weird rubber note reminiscent of Bulgari Black, but without the dense, sweet vanilla-salicylate heart. Instead of being dark green, the background here is golden, and after a while spent focusing, as with a microscope, up and down the depth of the perfume, you discern two more skeins to the swirling chorus, a honey-like background and a mysterious, transparent green-floral medium. This is, oddly, both a solar fragrance and one suggesting an enclosed space. If I had to describe it with one image, it would be a paneled Frank Lloyd Wright living room with large, mitred glass windows, at once confined and radiant. There simply is no other fragrance like this out there. [...]

tried Terre d'Hermes EdT today. i really love it. great opening and the dry down is nice and simple and not quite as all in overpowering on the woodyness as say Bleu de Chanel is. the drydown is much smoother with a hint of wood but a bit smoky and dry im guessing from the vetiver. it's very very pleasing. this is nice enough that i'm going to look into the EdP and Parfum to compare, because it's subtle, masculine, and pleasing enough to be a signature scent for most of the year.

new round of (free) LT "reviews" just in:
>Guerlain Part 4
>Parfums for men
>Guerlain has released three parfum versions of their best-known masculines. While I love the originals, and think richer, more concentrated men’s fragrances are a good thing, this is a disappointing trio, not even worthy of capsule reviews.
>Vetiver Parfum is a sub-par rehash and adds nothing. L’Homme Idéal Parfum is the familiar Cool Water + Mulled Wine affair we all know and love, not noticeably more concentrated. Habit Rouge Parfum is slightly more interesting, because it delays the pressing, languorous horn call of the original by a few minutes behind some warm rum-like notes.
