What are the do's and don'ts when using camo clothing in public?
Especially jackets and pants.
How to avoid looking like a retarded, an edgy teenager or an active service member?
What camos to avoid?

>> No.18067600

A pretty good rule of thumb to avoid looking to unhinged/weird is to limit yourself to just one piece having camo
More can be done, but it depends on which camo type it is, what garment itself is camo, is it actual milsurp, etc
idk

>Don't wear more than one piece of camo at the same time, especially jackets + pants
>Don't use real military, political or identification patches and if you're using ironical, humorous or pop culture patches then don't over do it and avoid going full autistic
Also, avoid the Punisher skull like a plague
>Avoid using your country active service camo pattern
>Never use knockoff or civilian/commercial made patterns
>The camo piece must be the only "tactical" item in your clothing so don't use combat pants/shirts, velcro hats, shooting glasses, vests, etc
>Beware of the clothes sizing
>Don't act like an autist

You have to match the weight of the rest of your pieces to the camo. Also wear only one piece of camo at a time. I mix field jackets in with trad/ivy looks, this isn't my pic but it's an example of the style I go for.

You don't want anything too slim/skinny or too light weight if you're wearing milsurp or it will clash

Don't use a closed BDU jacket if the size is too small.
It''s strange, ugly, uncomfortable and makes you fat even if you're skinny,
Pic related.

Avoid formal clothing items when using military fashion or gear.
It doesn't looks good and defeats the purpose/style of both the military clothing and the formal dressing code.

When in doubt you can always let a brand like Stussy select the colors for you

>> No.18068734

>M81 Woodland, Alpenflage, Chocolate Chip and Flecktarn are the go to camo for civilian casual use.
They're stylish, popular and fits well with a lot of civilian clothing itens without giving you the larper autistic vibe.
>AVOID DIGITAL PATTERNS
Especially UCP
>Rhodesian Brushstroke, Splinter, dot 44, etc are really cool and stylish camos but have a LOT of political/historical weight to them so use with caution to avoid problems
>Multicam is NPC tier camo
>Belgian Jigsaw it's hit or miss depending on the rest of your clothing
>Jieitai is kino but avoid acting like a retarded anime fan

Going off these two I'd also say avoid pieces that have people's names/badges on them. It adds nothing to the style and borders on getting hassled by a zogbot for stolen "valor"

Tell me more. I have a few pieces and I have a hard time styling them

Only digital I like is Duch NFP and some from Singapore.

Desert night and strichtarn are also very stylish and casual camos for civilian use.
>>18069204
When using Belgian jigsaw it's better if you avoid other colorful or bright pieces of clothing.
Since jigsaw it's already a heavily colorful and bright pattern then you need to make sure you're not fully dressed as a clown.
Use dark and neutral colors like black, grey, dark brown, etc.
Blue, red, green and yellow must be avoided.

Appreciated. I have two different colorations of the camo, but this advice works for both.

What's the ultimate fashionable camo tier list? I love the stuff.
