Zoomers well into their 20s still dress like e-boys, just not that kind of e-boy anymore. That's dated now. It's all about baggy, oversized everything and bulky shoes. Everything's fucking massive. 3XL shirt. Immensely wide legged pants. The bulkiest New Balances money could buy.

No one knows your age online. If you don't tell your chronological age, you are the age that you look like. Even if they knew your age, I think you're still very young. It only looks weird if you're visibly old.

Also, why are you asking for a permission? Just do it bitch nigga. Insecure mfer

the upper middle class zoomers dress like cool people in 1980.

Why is this such a common trend? I'm 20 and wanna dress similarly, not like an e-boy though, but I never did when I was younger because I had a shit fashion sense.

I'm 19 and have a similar experience. I think the covid shutdowns happened during some very important formative years for us, kind of halted brain development in a certain way. I felt like my life was just on pause for a couple years, then off to college I went, and now that I'm finally getting comfortable again I find myself trying to experiment with this stuff.

I don’t remember when I came here, but I was on an inuyasha message board and then chan swallowed me lmao, and I’m 34 (fuk).

That aside, it often helps to ask your friends if it looks age appropriate or just absolute dogchit cringe. But I’d be more worried past 30yo. 21 is pretty young

This. I'd look at OP weird for wearing this not because he's too old to dress like a fuckboy twink in general but just because fits like that are a direct time capsule to 2017 or so. I'd just assume he's been rocking the same style since high school

Not sure if I dress like an e-boy, but at least adjacent. Pretty much the classic menswear equivalent--cinched waistcoats and such (admittedly bordering dougmode sometimes). This pseudo-scene shit is both gay *and* undignified, the former I can tolerate. Guess it's slightly better than the average slave fit, but still. Anyway, it's everywhere here, and nobody who goes to college is still in high school.

You guys have gotten too far up your own asses with the age neurosis. The most annoying thing on this fucking board is 20-somethings complaining about being "old". The human mind/body is supposed to hit peak operation around 35. Life even continues past that point, believe it or not. In fact, there are people over that age who aren't fat and bald.

So yes, OP. You can still dress like a retarded faggot at 21.

>>18052587
Assuming that's right, 2017 was only 7 years ago. Considering that the current style is an amalgamation of almost everything post-1980, does it matter? Who notices? I think it's just people that want to.

>> No.18053101

>>18049596
That kind of e-boy look is outdated by about 6-7 years. I was dressing like that around 2018
I mean, I'm 23 y.o zoomer boomer who's also regretful that I'm approaching twink death soon. Good bye my youth....

While I think this looks kinda gay I can relate too the sentiment, I used to have 0 swag but I sort of figured out my personal style a little bit after high school, with Covid being somewhat of a catalyst for me to stop being a misanthropic retard

I don’t really regret it too much, considering I’m in college so I have basically the same social opportunities anyway
