I'm 19 and have a similar experience. I think the covid shutdowns happened during some very important formative years for us, kind of halted brain development in a certain way. I felt like my life was just on pause for a couple years, then off to college I went, and now that I'm finally getting comfortable again I find myself trying to experiment with this stuff.

That aside, it often helps to ask your friends if it looks age appropriate or just absolute dogchit cringe. But I’d be more worried past 30yo. 21 is pretty young

Not sure if I dress like an e-boy, but at least adjacent. Pretty much the classic menswear equivalent--cinched waistcoats and such (admittedly bordering dougmode sometimes). This pseudo-scene shit is both gay *and* undignified, the former I can tolerate. Guess it's slightly better than the average slave fit, but still. Anyway, it's everywhere here, and nobody who goes to college is still in high school.

The human mind/body is supposed to hit peak operation around 35. Life even continues past that point, believe it or not. In fact, there are people over that age who aren't fat and bald.

I don’t really regret it too much, considering I’m in college so I have basically the same social opportunities anyway
