In a recent study published in The Journal of Human Behavior and Social Psychology, researchers have delved into the intriguing possibility of a connection between cherry consumption and sexual orientation. Led by Dr. James Reynolds of the Department of Psychology at a leading university, the study aimed to investigate whether individuals' preferences for cherries correlated with their sexual orientation. The research involved a large-scale survey of over 5,000 participants from diverse backgrounds and demographics. Participants were asked to indicate their level of fondness for cherries, ranging from "strongly dislike" to "strongly like," as well as to provide information about their sexual orientation. Surprisingly, the study revealed a statistically significant association between liking cherries and identifying as homosexual. Among participants who expressed a strong affinity for cherries, a higher proportion identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual compared to those who reported a dislike for cherries. Dr. Reynolds commented on the findings, stating, "While our study does not establish a causal relationship, the observed correlation raises intriguing questions about the potential underlying mechanisms. It's possible that there are psychological or cultural factors at play that influence both taste preferences and sexual orientation."

pretty different openings, but they dry down similar. NYI's opening is more like something between Chanel Pour Monsieur and Habit Rouge, Lalique's opening has a touch of this more modern citrus accord and lacks the fluffy petitgrain, there is a sharper rosemary note instead. drydown is similar, but NYI has the clove and a touch of animalics, while the Lalique has cedar. I would say NYI evolves more and probably has a bit more going on overall, but Lalique sure competes damn well with it for something that's 10x cheaper

DYLAN BLUE:
The straightforward and pragmatic type of guy. Maybe a bit basic, but he sure knows how to get the job done when conducting business. Although not so much of an attention seeker, Dylan Blue is the kind the guy who discreetly walks among the crowd, only to be noticed by those who directly know him. There is a good chance that Dylan Blue is a family man; with a blonde wife and two adorable kids.

EROS:
The energetic and fresh type of guy. He loves showing off his charm and grab the attention from onlookers. Eros is not afriad of what others may think of him. He is also quite a visionary, often times having crazy and creative ideas flowing in his head. He has a sweet tooth as well, with a particular liking for mint-flavoured candies. Eros is a bachelor man. He loves living the single life while partying with his friends and enjoying wonderful times together.

>I remembered Egoïste as a beautiful but slightly watery pastel confection of candied fruits and low-key woods, and this one surprised me. I’ve never smelled Bois Noir, from which Egoïste was derived, but I suspect this is closer to the original. This is now the most Guerlain-like of all the Chanels, full of thyme, lavender, and other herbes de Provence, a sort of Jicky spiked with Antaeus and rounded off with Bois des Îles in the drydown. A perfect alternative to Mouchoir de Monsieur, sprightlier and less dandified. Go easy when wearing it, though: this is strong stuff. LT

Montale/Mancera mogs PdM in every imaginable way
>original compositions not copies of designer scents
>doesn't aspire to be anything that it's not unlike PdM's tryhard faking history and brand image by a hired PR team
>plenty of stellar offerings that changed niche fragrances forever vs. just uncreatively tweaking up designer scents that have been available for years
>unmatched performance of almost every scent vs. just above average performance of some scents if even that
>embraced fully use of synthetics to make great modern scents vs. bullshit marketing blurbs about PdM using natural ingredients despite using the same synthetics as Montale/Mancera (e.g. oud used by both is the same Firmenich's synthetic oud note but PdM Sales Assistants always say some shit about it being collected in Cambodia lmao)
>reasonable pricing, cheaper than most of designers vs. absolutely unbacked by anything price premium
Yup, PdM is the biggest shithouse in the 'niche' category.. At least Creed/MFK have some original scents in their offerings.

the other day i had the sudden thought that it would be so cool to smell like a school gymnasium. walking up to someone and they get a wiff of such a strange, not necessarily pleasant, nostalgia triggering scent. i feel like it would be surreal to encounter. almost disorienting.

after a little research it seems unlikely that anyone has bottled the distinct school gymnasium scent. but i now want something along those lines, disorienting and out of place on a human being. possibly nostalgic? something that would make me do a double take and look around for a source if i smelled it in public. here are some ideas ive thought of, though im open to alternatives as long as theyre along the same lines.
>wet paint
>strong chlorine, like an indoor pool
>plaster
>bleach
>sunscreen
>elmers glue sticks

im not a perfume nerd, i wear fairly normie scents most of the time, i would appreciate you peoples help on finding something like this, the idea of smelling out of place and strange has really taken root in my brain

I bought a tiny thing of Versace Eros to try out, too for nights out.
Any recommendations to wow my normie GF? She liked the Boss.

Cerruti 1881 is in a similar vein and performs much better on me. not the same by any means, as it has prominent rose, cassia and pine, but the effect of "citrus and green aromatic top notes, floral heart, refreshing and calming" is the same
