I got in love with watches for their technical aspects but I find luxury watches a shitfest of stupidity, like all luxury items. And the market is basically shitters and luxury woth nothing that makes sense in-between.
Nobody cares what watch you're wearing.
If they care they are mentally troubled people or rich snobs.
Many brands you associate them with white ppl heroes like in OP are now mostly worn by asians and 75IQ saudis.

Tried this thing for the first time recently and I can honestly say that it was the best 20 euros I have ever spent,
battery lasts for a long time, the resin is so comfortable that you can even sleep with it at night,
it has a bunch of different modes including interactive ones like games, in which if you mess up
it's going to make you jump on your bed up and down from the amount of pleasure that it gives you.
The vibrator is also nice...

Zombie brand means the original company was dead and buried in the quartz crisis, until some investor bought the rights to the brand name and started producing clones or homages of the original watch line-up, all while claiming 'muh heritage'.
Most famous example is Invicta. Nivada Grenchen was also recently revived by I believe some young French investor who brought a few others back as well.

The Chinese also have a habit of buying German brand names and releasing their own watches under that name, eg. Ingersoll.

To be fair a lot of brands have been sold again and again over the decades, to a point where there's nothing of the original company in there anymore, such as Movado, Zodiac, Doxa, and I think even Zenith, but at least they've been consistently producing new watches.
Zombie brands were literally dead and non-existent until someone brought them back.

My first G-Shock was a GW-M5610-1ER I bought in University.
Radio Timekeeping was useful I was commuting on the train and essentially had railway time on my wrist
It was one of two watches I took with me when I lived abroad as a bit of a beater watch, and was subsequently the only watch I used when travelling anywhere.
It was never really my main watch until I started working in an aquarium, where I didn't mind it being submerged in salt water or inevitably whacking it in to rocks.
From that point onwards it got so much wrist time, it became the only thing I wore.
My life has changed so much over the eight years I've worn it. I've been on top of the world and at my lowest wearing it. I found out a friend died and found out my god-daughter was born wearing it. I've seen the world and explored my own mind.
Even with all the change, one thing that's stayed the same and always remained reliable is my G-Shock. As my life moves on, my baby brother is starting his adult life by joining the Army. I gave him my G-Shock because I know it will be reliable and a reminder of me as he goes on the adventures his new life takes him on.

>chronograph
I guess you could use it to time your walk to your stand or your camp, how long it's been since you've seen an animal, maybe some other little things, but why? It has pointer date instead of a tachymeter, so it would make it harder to use for things like figuring out the distance of storms by the sound of thunder and things like that. So even if you wanted this there are watches that would do it way better.

This just seems like a weird rebranding of a dress watch chronograph movement.
