There's a difference between perfume and fragrance. Perfume is just a specific concentration of fragrance which contains 20-30% of oil and the rest is alcohol. Fragrance is all the kinds of smelling juices from cologne to etd,edp and parfum/perfume. We talk a lot about designer fragrances here as well, which most of them are etd. So it would be wrong to do what you said.

Spring and summer just arrived and with it my first niche frag. It is Sukimuki no. 19. A Mexican brand of french design. The notes listed by the company are seawater, seaweed and cedarwood.
Indeed, it smells like seaweed and cedarwood. It is not listed in the ingredients but I can perceive some vanilla-like sweet that rounds up the frag.
I sprayed twice and I am about to experience a headache. Late at night. I am thinking of taking the juice to my local perfumer and ask him to dilute a third of the perfume into a EDT concentration.

Any suggestions for a scent that has lavender as a dominant scent in the top, middle, AND base notes?

The opening of pic related is absolutely perfect; But I want something that has that for the entire duration of the scent.

Its incredible how many people recommend this when lavender comes up, considering the lavender portion of it lasts a total of 5 minutes before it becomes just pure gourmand vanilla and nothing else.

I sprayed Oud Minerale at Macy's the other day. I had heard that it was supposed to be challenging/gross. Assuming the Signature version is similar to the old Private version, I think I realized something about perfume consumers. if something isn't primarily super sweet, they hate it. I'm not crazy about it, but it's decent and a little bit interesting. I already have Walk The Sea so Oud Minerale is a little redundant.
It makes me think of Gucci Guilty Absolute which has a cult following but apparently bombed among normies. GGA is not at all challenging, it's just not sweet.

My newest purchase, I adore the scent and this is probably one of the best frags I've ever bought. However, after checking the batch code it says that it was produced in 2019, making it 5 years old. Would that make a difference in terms of its performance?

What’s the general consensus here on etat libre d'orange?

Promised to make a follow-up post about this frag (Stronger With You Intensely by Armani), here it is. Ive worn it for one day so far, the longevity is fine, sprayed it on around 9am and it was still noticeable until around 5pm. Its soft and inoffensive. My girlfriend said it smells “like a man”. I think this is my favorite fragrance ive ever worn and im considering buying another bottle already.

Thanks for the input. I’m regretting only getting the 4 piece sampler set over the discovery kit, but there were quite a few scents I wasn’t interested in. I ended up choosing ghost in the shell, rien intense incense, fat electrician, and hermann.

My only real complaint about ELDO is if you order a sample kit (which comes with the 15% discount code) and then try to order a bottle AND another sample kit, you can’t use the discount code.

Let me start by saying Rien II is one of the big names, I didn’t say it was good or bad.
It’s extremely loud and not to my taste.

GitS is a great frag, leans towards warmer weather and is a touch feminine, but could easily be a year round daily.
Rien II is gonna be pretty limited unless you just don’t care what other people think of you, almost anything indoors where you’re not alone is gonna be considered rude.
Fat Electrician is a relatively standard vetiver, it just has the odd sweet gourmand top note, and a kind of… plastic-y note behind that, which is what most people would dislike if they dislike it.
Everyone talks up Hermann as this weird, distant, slightly unsettling scent that I simply don’t get.
What I found from my discovery kit is that all/almost all of the frags containing a rose note from ELDO smell like VicksVapo Rub.
Like 4/5 of their “Orange Extraordinaire” frags have it, and they’re all different variations on Vicks. Hermann’s is the green variety.

When waking up, my room has this mouth and ball smell from mouth breathing and ball sweating all night. Also when I wet my legs in the shower, there's this smell which is a bit sweet and musky.
I think those are my pheromones and I'm in love with them! The best fragrance is you (but of course I don't want to smell you because you obviously smell like onions, shits and tonsil stones)
