In the Mood for Love has the best costuming of any film I've seen

First off this show is terrible. Like a low rent Wire that takes place in the 80s and 90s but if you like 90s Streetwear it features the best wardrobe I've seen on a show other than Miami Vice.

nobody mention Metropolitan (1990) yet? There's a few scenes about the importance of a proper winter coat. absolute classic and really funny- actually all of Whit Stillmans films have really stylish costume design. Worth watching anyway

seconding the anon who said mysterious skin and doom generation, totally fucked up is pretty good too. what you should know going into the teen apocalypse trilogy (totally fucked up, nowhere, doom generation) is they're very campy and pretty gay, so if you're expecting something sleek or subtle or whatever you will be disappointed. they're cool movies though, all his soundtracks are top tier
