Bought 100ml bottles of Guerlain l'homme ideal EDT, heritage and L'Instant EDT and they only last about 30 minutes on my skin. What a waste of money. Is there a frag similar to l'homme ideal EDT that has good performance? Unisex frags are more talked about than ladies, because most aimed towards women currently are candy or vanilla, which only pleases a certain set of women. The rest go for ‘unisex’ stuff, which is probably worn more by women like Byredo, but marketed to all with non gendered packaging/bottles.
Frags that market to men and women seem to have some gendered designing, like the gendered kids toy aisles. Then unisex is the toy section in a museum shop (superior)

Just smelled a handful of samples. Have some more coming over the next couple days. Have you guys tried these?

>Memo Paris African Leather
Love this. That slightly sweet cardamom is incredible. Like a cardamom and leather duo with a bit of dessert. Even if I smell like a paki I don’t give a fuck it is gorgeous. Nicely done oriental. Getting a bottle.

>Aesop Hwyl
Embodies masculinity. Really good and dark. Hyper realistic pine tree - like putting your nose against a branch. Feel like a twink bitch can’t pull this off kek. A well groomed man can. I respect the hell out of it.

>Montale Risetretto Intense Cafe
So feminine. Might smell nice on a cute girl though desu. Caramel and rose bomb. I expected bitter dark roast coffee beans and I was very wrong. A faggoty smell but weirdly fucking nuclear strong.

>ELDO Hermann a mes Cotes
Smells sophisticated and I’m not just saying that because of the pretentious brand/name. Damp soil, basil, mint, stems and shrubs, bit of rose, very small touches of amber. Dressed up and classy but probably not for me. Somebody else will love it.

>Zoologist Chipmunk
Reminds me of charred oak. All about oak and hazelnut. A slightly comfy quality but nowhere near saccharine. It is pretty nice. Unisex leaning masculine.

So these samples arrived and so far I've tested fat electrician and new york intense.

Fat electrician smells exactly like how I remember Encre Noire. There's no way I'd pay for this over EN. I don't have an EN sample anymore to compare side by side, but I'm not impressed

New york intense smells a bit like something in between boucheron pour homme and habit rouge. It's pretty good

That's bizzare, for me it smells nothing like EN at all. It's quite sweet with a lot of vanilla, some balsamic resins, has smokier vetiver... Very few similarities to the dry to the bone greenish EN.

It’s fallen a bit into disrepair honestly, lots of cancellations, slow maintenance that takes days. Really annoying. But some of it is really shiny and new. Very London I guess.

I really like Halfeti, Sohan, Matthew and William. Gf LOVES Constance and Sohan. Been meaning to try Yasmin, Radcliffe and Arthur properly, they all smelled pretty damn nice though when I sampled them, even though I don’t usually love scents with sweeter elements.
Sadly English Fern is discontinued, that was a good one.
