>Avatarfags
Lonely guys who just want to friendsim. They want to talk about their lives and use pictures of their watches to let you know who's posting. They don't use a tripcode because they know everyone will just filter them. They use their avatars as an excuse to post about their lives ("So what if I'm talking about something completely off-topic? I posted a watch in a watch thread.")
e.g. Mort, OmegaDrunk, Whoretadello

>Known posters
People post pics of their watches with context. They become recognizable because their collections are small enough, but don't post a pic with every single post so you don't even know when they're in the thread at all.
e.g. ALS Anon, Reverso Anon

>BitterAnon
Posters who derive amusement from how easily it is to get avatarfags in a state of sputtering rage.

>AvatarSimp
Lonely guys who would be avatarfags if only they had watches or a camera.

Which one of these Speedy homage should I get?

Swatch - can be had for $400-$500 depending on color. Pretty shitty WR. Perfect size and the best Moonwatch homage out there since its literally designed by Omega.

Bulova - around the same price, new from Bulova or its retailers. Fucking hueg. Slightly better WR. Should have a better chronograph function. Doesn't look as good but seems to be made of better material.

These two things that you mentioned keep this watch from being perfect. It's not a thick watch by any means, but I know they can do better, I mean credor exists so- I guess it could be 1mm thinner.
The bracelet though, well there is no sugarcoating it. Don't get me wrong, compared to "normal" watches at different price points (1000€-3000€) it's better of course. It's thicker, symmetrical, shinny, wider and it just "feels" better. But at that price proint, MSRP 9500$, this is riding a thin line of not being acceptable. I could forgive it if it had micro adjustment or a butterfly clasp (like my two other much cheaper watches, the credor and the black bay ceramic).
If the dial, the movement, the finishing, the case- are a 10, the bracelet is maybe a 6.
The lack of micro adjustment is what almost killed it for me, considering that watches at 300$ have them.

It depends on the deal and not the watch per se. I am not going with buying in mind though, that's why I'll take a watch with me.

>send me my watch via mail and I'll wear the new one or vise versa.
This has the highest risk of you getting fucked over by customs bro.

I assume the best play is to fly without a watch, return with one on the wrist and just send the empty box home via mail

Problem is that there is no way to be sure about real price. When I tried buying grey for a jap watch, the website said shipping and custom taxes and VAT included but eventually the custom called me asking for the VAT money and that would have made the watch as expensive as in my domestic market.

Website had good reviews.

Sure you can try, watches are light weight..
But is has the be declared as a very low value gift and if they scan it and see a 10k watch inside you'll be charged with tax evasion and stuff.

where is it supposed to go? I figure it should be around the crystal and on top of the edge of the metal hole holding it but then the bezel kinda doesn't fit it seems?

The red seems a bit too bright as this will probably be my general every day watch. Might end up getting the black dial with the blue and red bezel as the all black one is a bit bland and i have other black watches. The green is growing on me a bit

forgot, but search Neo Classic Sports
they have 3 colorways
>>17927861
yes, although red pops out, maybe it's not for everyday wear.
get what colorway satisfies you the most.
