What can you recommend that will be wearable in warm temps?

>> No.17923424

1. **Acqua di Parma Colonia**: A classic, versatile scent that's light enough for the tropics yet has a sophisticated depth. It features bright citrus notes balanced with subtle spice and woody undertones.

2. **Tom Ford Soleil Blanc**: A warm and spicy scent with cardamom and amber, but also has lighter notes that make it suitable for warmer weather.

3. **Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne**: A lighter take on the warm and spicy genre. It features almond and spices, balanced with citrus and a light, fresh feel.

4. **Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme**: Known for its light, citrusy notes combined with a subtle spiciness. It's a fresh scent that's perfect for tropical climates.

5. **Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin**: A unique blend of sandalwood, saffron, and spices, offering a warm scent profile that's not too heavy for the heat.

6. **Diptyque Philosykos**: While not traditionally spicy, it offers a fresh fig and woody scent, perfect for tropical climates and unique enough to stand out.

7. **Creed Virgin Island Water**: A luxurious choice blending lime, coconut, and rum notes, giving a tropical vibe without being overly sweet or heavy.

Fuck yea. a thousand threads of dispair!

Latest haul:
Casamorati Regio: Bright lemon-lavender opening with a slight clean feel but it doesn't smell like a cleaning product. It's very interesting because there's nothing that smells quite like this. Can't wait for the mid and drydown. Dangerous to blind buy, but very interesting to sample because I haven't smelled anything quite like it. Comparisons to black orchid are fallacious.

Bentley for Man Intense: Deep rich sweet velour with a semi-leather feel. Very similar to Lubin Idole, but more smokey/leather and less sweet/woody. Very interesting scent for a cheapie price. Easy recommend.

Goldfield and Banks Pacific Rock Moss: Light citrus and oceanic. Similar to Versace man eau fraiche, but with a better selection for the backing moss and wood scent. Very nice, although according to online the longevity is fairly shit. Oh well, it still smells great and you can always take a sample with you.

Guerlain Homme EdP: Online reviews make it seem like a mojito in a bottle; it's not. A soft sophisticated nutty-woody base with overtones of mint, rum, and lime. Everything for a mojito is there on the shelf but the vibe of the whole thing is much more reminiscent of LIdGE with the chocolate/cocao swapped out for rum and mint. An excellent frag.

Completely changes an hour in and somehow becomes much closer to black orchid (still different), but that lemon-lavender becomes dark and smokey

Bentley for Man Intense:
>Deep rich sweet velour with a semi-leather feel. Very similar to Lubin Idole, but more smokey/leather and less sweet/woody. Very interesting scent for a cheapie price. Easy recommend.
Slight change on the drydown. The leather dissipates to a creamy sweetness (likely from the benzoin) with a dark floral backing from the patchoulli.

Goldfield and Banks Pacific Rock Moss:
>Light citrus and oceanic. Similar to Versace man eau fraiche, but with a better selection for the backing moss and wood scent. Very nice, although according to online the longevity is fairly shit.
Still going a couple of hours in, but the freshness basically disappears and you are left with an earthy-moss drydown.

Guerlain Homme EdP:
>A soft sophisticated nutty-woody base with overtones of mint, rum, and lime. Everything for a mojito is there on the shelf but the vibe of the whole thing is much more reminiscent of LIdGE with the chocolate/cocao swapped out for rum and mint.
I don't know what the fuck happened but it got MORE fresh on the drydown. It's like nutty-rum scent got out of the way and the lime-mint-woods scent started blasting. This is a wild one.

It's worth the investment for your peace of mind, instead of continually wondering if you bought the right bottle. I use My Fragrance Samples. I think they have all of those ones available. I've never bought any Chanel myself, but I remember there being an e-mail from their newsletter saying they only sell Chanel through a hidden link available to those on the newsletter. (Chanel is notorious for taking legal action against decant websites. I think MFS might actually be the only decanter who sells it.)

Your colleges will hate you if you put some strong smell on you, especially if sushi are served. But if it's an actual Western style bar than no one will be offended.

What kind of deodorant should I get and is it going to fuck with whatever I want to wear? Do people who wear fragrances have some kind of special solution for the competing smells?

Can anybody recommend a Baccarat Rouge 540 clone which isn't made by arabs? I love this fragrance but I have already gone through several decants and it's starting to get expensive.

I'm not racist and I'm not rich either...but I must stress that I don't care if a clone is a 100% copy and costs only 30€, I won't buy anything made by an arab, due to uh...personal reasons....

In fact I will rather buy spend 50€ on 10ml decants of the real stuff than spend 30€ on a 100ml clone that was made by Arabs.

Please don't say Instant Crush, it doesn't quite scratch my itch and it has that weird nostril tingling sensation thing going on which people associate with cheap designer fragrances..

People will always smell the frag you're wearing, so they won't even notice the deodorant you're wearing (their sillages are not even comparable), unless you're retarded enough to wear a frag as a deodorant.
In short, don't worry about it.
PS: I'm assuming you're wearing a standard deodorant and not those that can be sprayed.

i feel like these two are very often mutually exclusive, just save up and buy a 70ml. any other "clone" that doesn't have this association, such as trajan by electimuss, will be equally expensive.

this sort of thinking usually ends up you keep looking for good alternatives and spending more money than just getting the actual stuff, leading you into remorse.

if that doesn't fit you, just order the samples directly from mfk that are free of order, those will have cheaper euro/ml price

#1 is mostly cloying annoying scents that are closest to Ask body spray. If the idea is to get into fragrances to get away from that base, then this is a bad choice

#2 is late 20s shit with the exception of Joop!, so that may be that wrong vibe

#3 is a good late teen early 20 set. No Limit$ Super fresh is somewhere between immature and confident. Legend red is a smooth cinammon. The two Coach are both good and safe and Explorer is the designer Aventus. Good set

#4 I think is basically the same as 3 but even slightly better. The classic legend is more versatile than red because it's based off of Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce (a winner). The two Coach frags are still good and Rochas L'Homme is a universal blue excellent frag. Day/Night any season.

I have some two or three frags that I end up using from time to time because I already had the bottles but I find kinda meh, should I just sell them for cheap on Facebook to get nicer stuff? no the scent should begin immediately (esp for these strong scents.)

put your index finger on top of the sample and turn it upside down and then I use the same finger to distribute the fragrance on your hand (pick spots on your hands and remember which frag is where.) The amount you use on each spot is smaller than what a sprayer would deliver, so you'll have to bring your nose up close. Putting these samples on your neck is questionable because good luck being able to tell what you're smelling.

This seems like mental illness and that you have a problem with impulse control. This is almost a form of self harm, you are least causing your self financial damage.

Like what are you actually trying to achieve by doing this? Is your basic need for affection and love not being fulfilled and you think that the more money you spend, the more people like you? If this is the case, it’s not going to work and you will trap your self in a vicious cycle of buying fragrances because you are lonely or whatever and then you buy even more because it doesn’t fulfil your need for attention or love.

Like is your hobby trying out and experiencing fragrances or do you just like spending money and collecting to fill the void?

fan favorite apparently, supposed to smell like you're walking into a parisian bakery - the smell of fresh buttery croissants and a cup of coffee. unfortunately, i REALLY dont get the croissant smell. all i smell is musk and the coffee tone? expected way more

opens VERY strongly with a coca cola smell - and it was hyper realistic I'd say. Midtones slowly switch to caramel-ish popcorn and ends with a sweet coke smell with a caramel undertone. Don't know how to describe it else, but man this smell is really really realistic
