Simon definitely mogs. Kirby is like a freak LARPer, atleast Simon dresses casually.

Mogging only exists when one person is so clearly better than the other that it puts the other person to shame. Slight differences in status don’t count. If you have to argue about who mogs, no one does.

Simon always mogs because he manages to wear menswear without looking like a complete autist.

He doesn't just wear bespoke. And it's a lot more involved than that since it's really easy to look like an uncomfortable dweeb wearing menswear. Just take a look at Styleforum or Reddit.

NTA, but I’ve read every PS post and I find his advice very useful. I suggest reading more of the posts and comments and it will help you develop a sense of what is or isn’t good. Honestly, bespoke isn’t just it, but a huge part of it is just very nice and expensive items of clothing. Reddit often copes with focusing on fit, sure fit is important but come on, some of that clothing is beautiful and has incredible character which you’ll struggle to find with most cheaper clothing than what features on PS.

To be fair, PS talks about fit quite often as well, and he certainly talks about it in more depth than Reddit ever could. Fit is, of course, as much a question of garment construction as individual body shape, though. But yeah, I suppose a lot of it is simply due to the quality of the garment itself.

Simon looks shit. Whenever he speaks he sounds desperate and insecure, there's no confidence in his voice whatsoever, it's painful to listen to.
His outfits have no cohesion in reality. In theory they make sense, but in reality mixing a sportcoat with jeans or a denim shirt doesn't make it more casual because any normie sees suit jacket = suit.

Kirby looks shit, He speaks with autistically blind confidence, he isn't even aware that he's talking about trivial details for 10 minutes straight, he sounds like a used car salesman everything he talks about high armholes or Italian mills.
His outfits are too formal, as others have mentioned he looks like a funeral director. However, they are cohesive, he doesn't lower himself to normies by dressing down.

Reviewbrah mogs both of them

Also, i agree, reviewbrah would mog both of them. They used menswear as a mean to flaunt their limited and biased knowledge. While being trihard salemen to incels who want to look rich and feel supperior to others. Hypocritically, they often make fun of designer brand buyers paying for sub-par quality.

What exactly do you guys mean when you say "menswear"? Technically any clothes made for men are "menswear", which is why I'm confused. Do you just mean business casual?

>> No.17913236

>>17913206
No, menswear in the fashion world means something different. Menswear is sort of the more broad umbrella that trad/ivy/prep styles would fall under. Things like tuxedos, suits, sport coats/blazers, dress trousers, dress shoes etc would all fall under menswear. Business casual is different as lots of menswear is not necessarily office appropriate. Think less finance bro in a vest and Brooks Brothers and more a bespoke suit at Pitti Uomo.

What >>17912969 said. Feel comfortable in what you wear and show confidence in your taste. When I started wearing trad/ivy and such at first friends poked fun at me but that quickly subsided and I receive compliments for it now. Slowly build up a wardrobe, changing style in a day is obviously going to get funny looks.

>>17912957
You'll almost always come off as a LARPer in a suit unless the occasion calls for it. Do not just dress for yourself, that's incredibly autistic and dressing for the environment or for others does matter. I'd tone it down day-to-day unless you are in a big city where it wouldn't really look odd at all since everyone dresses differently. Maybe avoid the suits but look into sport coats, interesting blazers, tailored jackets, outerwear etc. Button up shirts are fine for use with casual trouser or jeans OCBDs, chambray, western shirts etc.
