Is there something in similar style and price point to Pelagos 39? I finally had a chance to try one in person but the titanium is just too light, plus in normal light the whole dial and bezel looks too bleak and grey.

The brief version:

The 2500 movements were modified versions of the cal. 1120 (which was itself just a modified ETA 2892)

The 2500A, B, and C versions used an 2-level "extra flat" variant of Daniels' escapement. the A and B versions were a disaster and quickly discontinued. The C version was stable, but is extremely sensitive to overlubrication. It will just suddenly stop. Then it will have to go to in for repairs.

The 2500D version used the three-level variant of the coaxial escapement and it was perfectly reliable but they only made it for a few years before the movement was replaced with the new, ground-up cal. 8500.
(IIRC the 2500D was only used in Planet Oceans)

Based EDC coordination anon. Spyderco is always a good way to go. But for those handle choices, you might have to go aftermarket. I'd recommend a para3 like OP. You can get it with many different steel comps, s30v, s110v(OP), CruWear, etc and there are aftermarket grips available. Another obvious answer is mini-griptilian or mini-bugout from benchmade. Now this is all sub-3" blade stuff. If you're willing to go bigger, the world's your oyster.

OK, so you're in the market for >3" pocket knife. Whatever the case, I would recommend this: get a non-boutique knife with the blade steel you want and the lock type you want. You can always get aftermarket grips in whatever config you want. That said, Benchmade and Spyderco are both classic brands with great steels and great locking mechanisms as well as healthy aftermarket grip ecosystems. Hard to go wrong with either.

The jubilee just doesn't look right with the blue/black. I think the Pepsi Jubilee looks great and I have one on forever waitlist that I will never get the call on. But for me I think the Batman looks way better than the Batgirl, I understand that economically it doesn't make sense seeing that the Batman is market value is probably a good $2k or 15% above where as the same priced Batgirl is closer to 4-5k above.

2ndary mv is currently around 21k - 22k. Being on a list isn't bad, I already got 2 calls one for a Sub-date(put my name for a no-date and they called me on a date, go figure) and a DJ41. Turned down the sub and they seem to be perfectly okay with it, a month later they called me on the DJ41. So personally I think the GM is more ran by jews than ADs.

If you go out to eat any where fancy usually there's a small waiting period before they can seat you even if you have a reservation. This is the perfect time for me to sneak away into a nearby AD that happens to be located in the same shopping center. Takes a few mins to fill out a form with the thing you want + name/phone/email.

Here are all EVA G-Shocks released so far. There are a few from 2010s and at least 2 are from 2020-2021. They are going to be easier to get. If you can get the White one, get it for sure. Well, I'm just saying at that price range, manufacturers can cut corners on the stainless bands. Usually on the clasp, since they are almost always stamped clasps, but if you're ok with that and want a stainless band, then ok. I'm just saying, if you are not dead set on having a stainless band, you will save money and have much more customizability if you go with rubber/nato. That is, until you get to rolex submariner tier, where they have amazing milled clasp with microadjustment, etc.

I think expensive pocket knives are a waste of money. I got a folding pocket knife at Home Depot for like 20 bucks and it functions the exact same as those super expensive ones you see for thousands of dollars. I'm not afraid to beat on my cheap knife and use it for things because if the blade chips or the scales crack I can just buy a new one. If I had some bespoke craftsman knife for thousands of dollars I wouldn't want to use it. I guess you can make the argument that wrist watches are a waste of money too because I can buy a digital Casio for 10 dollars at Walmart that functions the same as a Patek Phillipe. But I'd rather spend my money on a fancy watch instead of a fancy knife, because I want a knife I'm not afraid to beat up and use as a tool

Letherman and Benchmade both make reasonable knives. I was more so talking about the super high end knives with fancy damascus steel and hand-made detailing and finishing that I've seen on YouTube EDC review channels. I appreciate the craftsmanship but I would never spend that much on a knife and then feel comfortable using it as a tool.

If you like it, go for it. Keep in mind that the gold is plated on Tudor watches, so after you wear it long enough and accumulate enough scratches, it won't look great on those gold parts.

Would usually never consider it, but it's just a damn good looking watch. It's limited to 100 pieces and the pink on pink just looks perfect. I'm almost sure I won't go for it, but it's sad knowing that I will most likely never get to see it again.

Make sure the exporter (the bloke you're getting it from) also knows what they're doing. Some places like to break the value of the watch down to its components: movement, strap, crystal, etc etc. If they declare it wrong you could end up having to pay more. Just look up your country's Harmonized Tariff Schedule for an exact answer.
