Interesting! If things aren't going well in his life, maybe he just wants some comrades to walk beside him for a bit, just so he knows he's not alone.

>>17881199
Oh my....well, since Mort and I got songs each, someone needs to construct one for Whoretadello too!

>>17881223
Yes, it is I. I'm flattered, but I'm just a guy who bought watches, got the ones he always wanted, and is now sailing along the river of contentment wearing what I want when I want, and not being tempted by new offerings. I've been lucky, and I hope the same for all who lust after watches. I look forward to our interactions too; I've never seen that Tudor before...is it ceramic? The Credor too seems unusual, and the Nomos absurdly thin! Cool stuff! Are you the fellow seeing ladies-of-the-night?

>>17881249
I will help them to bear this burden, as long as it is theirs to bear.

>>17881306
Most Omega boutiques I've ever been to were part of a 'Swatch' boutique; I haven't seen one that was alone before. Usually they can be very busy, and if they sell jewellery too, it can be tough to get 'personal service'. As long as you know that, then it's okay. Best service I ever had was at Vacheron and JLC.

>>17881350
Speedies can take 50m, no problem; just make sure they have been pressure tested just prior. No sense taking risks.

>>17881357
Always wanted one, but the reports of servicing are abysmal.

cope, I guess?

whatever is fine
>Desired features, e.g. water resistance, day/date, 2nd time zone
just a simple three hander, date complication is ok but don't even need that

leather, but if it comes in a bracelet I'd just get a leather strap

My first "serious" watch in my entire life, pic related.
All watches that have been before were either gifts by other people, so they selected them for me, or immature bs that I bought myself like military style khaki colored G-shock.

This, on other hand, has been selected solely by me. I am 29 years old. What do you think?

>In this case, however, the brown leather strap compliments the navy blue dial good enough imo, so no replacements/adjustments are needed.
In this hobby, I wouldn't place too much emphasis on the strap that comes with the watch. Those can be replaced/upgraded and are usually just garbage at the lower price points anyways. The dial is the one thing that can't be replaced.

The American Swatch.
They pioneered the disposable movements with 0 jewels and made a lot of affordable widely available and attractive beaters.

Later they became more like Casio, making cheap quartz with backlight.

But hey at least Timex is chrome coated brass case rather than chromed plastic.

They still are in terms of price. Because they like to be.

Regardless, piece of shit AP will never stop being part of it because its buyers are forcing them like there's no tomorrow. Every shitty dealer wears one and pretends it's amazing when it's really on the same tier as Rolex. Yeah they're independent but so are RM and FPJ and both are meme trash.

The only two brands that successfully reinvent the wheel are PP and VC, they regularly come out with amazing grand complications and they are actually desirable, unlike AP's pathetic piss poor attempts at that.

I know from experience, and I'm definitely not guessing. My life is full, and I have been lucky, I know that. There are many others who suffer far more than I am, or ever have. It is never my intent to diminish the pain that people feel, only to help them to see a path forward in which they can take control of what is grieving them and strengthen their position in life.

The first thing that affects how we deal with anything in life is our perspective. It can galvanize us into action, but it can also sabotage our efforts if misdirected or coming from a place of despair. Therefore, I only ask you to consider it from a positive and loving standpoint, as that is always the best to begin with. It's not easy, of course not. If it were, more people would do it. I believe you can do it Anon.

>>17882363

Yes, it looks even larger when you use a macro lens and take a pic close up, like I did. On the strap, the head of the watch will always look larger than on the bracelet. As many here would attest (and rightfully so), I'm not good at photography. lol

We've been seperated since April already, so it's nothing new.
Last year in spring, I was tired of her because of the same old reason, her extreme jealousy. When I say extreme I mean the absolute maximum you can imagine. If I looked, by accident, at another womens ass for example, then the entire day was ruined, and I mean ruined. Well after 4 years I couldn't take it anymore, I guess nobody would, and I went out to seek other women, effectively becoming what she feared the most.
I was surprised at how easy the dating game was at my age (I am 30 now, 29 when I was out hunting), so I decided to end it. Which wasn't easy. The tears and crying during the first weeks, were some of the hardest weeks of my life. Me sleeping on the couch, her coming to me in the middle of the night crying and begging me to go sleep with her--- Well after 3 weeks she gave up, and let me go.
6 Months later, to no ones surprise, we ended up together. I was with, let's call her ''J'', at that time for 2 months and later with ''G''. I posted ''J'' only once I think, the half-nigg with the rhasta, we're still in contact almost daily. I broke up with G to get back with my wife. But that didn't last long because all trust was gone at that point. And she broke up with Me in April. So in the end, I lost both. G was one of those girls that made you feel like a teenager again. I was so in love with her, I still don't know why I gave her up to go back to my wife considering I was the one who couldn't handle her jealousy anymore..

This summer was my downfall arc so to speak. I started fucking everything that moved (and hat a vagina), from strippers, to hookers, to normal women, to colleagues-- And I was drunk, not a lot but much more than usual. It wasn't all bad though. I re-kindled my love for cars and I was at the Nürburgring and other race tracks a lot. If you're often on /o/, you might've seen my threads even. I was posting there a lot during the summer.
Well by now, I am a bit known in the underground of Nürnberg, at least the stripper and hooker aspect of the nightlife.
Right now I am dating J, I show and tell her everything that I do but she loves me to much (allegedly) and she accepts who I am and still wants to be together. I don't know why, don't ask. Maybe she thinks I'm rich because I am very open with spending my money. Ah, she was there with me at the boutique when I bought the Tudor. It was the same day I posted Her.
About my wife, I tried a couple of times to get her back because she is a very rare woman I guess, even with all her problems. We went to Vienna for a short week, too, we cuddled and we talked a lot but it didn't lead to anything.
I found out what fish swim out there, and it isn't pretty. Especially our age (30s), if a woman is still childless and single, then there's something wrong with ther and she's been damaged already by Ex's.
Even though the Fucking game is easy, finding a decent wife is very much impossible.
I have fun though, I really do and, I had time to think about myself and experience many things. I will be in Japan for 3 months for example, starting december.

Yeah; they do this with all hesalite crystals, but the logo shape changes depending on the generation of crystal. The problem with the Grail is that they only have 2 crystals that fit, and 1 of them is original and the other is the factory replacement. Sadly, the factory replacement has gaps between the minute markers printed on the dial and the subsecond markers that are printed on the underside of the crystal. That gap tells you that the crystal has been replaced. I'm very lucky to have one that is fully original.

I'm already old, what is there to see? you see the current state of western marriage, a literal meme
>Marriage is very complicated, for both parties involved.
women are destroying the fabric of society in real time and this is your cope
maybe I am wrong, idk, entirely dependent on culture and society

all I see is the same simpery going on, women being retarded in real time and so on
don't think I will become more simpy as time goes on, impossibility as far as I can tell
this is very watch related again
