Ebay. Sterling silver if white skinned. Authenticity guaruntee (IMPORTANT!!!) Don't get white gold (it's rhodium plating) or 10k gold, or anything gold plated or vermeil. This leaves you with no gold unless you have money to blow. 10k gold looks nothing like 24k, even 14k is infitely more beautiful than 10k, which is like less than half gold. Get a 8-12mm thickness silver cuban with 16-18" length. Then a 20"-22" in a style complimentary to your main chain, but keep it thinner, 1.5-3~4mm thick. Possibly a pendant for it. I got picrel in 13mm thick/16" length and get lots of compliments for it.

That’s not true at all, barely any jewelers manufacturer chains of any type, as others have said there mainly imported from Italy. Miami Cuban or Cuban isn’t a brand name it’s just the link or style of the chain, much like curb, box, rope, figaro, ect. Miami is absolutely the undisputed king of Cuban link manufacturing in the US or the world for that matter, most is done by hand by guys who’ve done this since Castro came to power. I wear a Italian made Cuban on my right wrist prob around 5-7mm thick & when compared to a buddy’s Miami made Cuban there’s a big difference, but he main one being mine has a lobster clasp compared to the traditional box lock w/ clasps. Lastly I’ve priced them out & a couple of the sites I’ve seen actually offer very good prices. Their upfront about weight and sell it at a fair premium over spot. Only other time I’ve seen that is either from Menē or the Syrian or Arabic jewelers I buy my wife 22kt bangles from, most jewelry is no were near its spot price.

First of all, know your materials and what you want. Sterling Silver will be marked 925, S925, Ag925, STER etc. Karat Gold (if in the US) will be marked 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, 24K, Au 417, Au 583, Au750, Au 917 or Au 999. Platinum will be Pt 950, Pt 980, Pt 999, or PLAT. Avoid anything that says GP, SP, PP, GF, SF, or PF. Meaning they either plated the metal or it’s a filled alloy.

Countries don’t really matter, the whole made in Italy thing is a Jewish Trick. Also know your thicknesses and gauge sizes. Know if a piece is solid, semi hollow, or hollow. If grams are listed it’ll help you determine what your piece is according to their dimensions. Some can easily say a 5mm 24 inch 14K Cuban link is solid but if it weighs 15 grams it’s definitely not fully solid, should be more like 30-45 grams. Handmade pieces will almost always cost more than mass cast pieces, however quality doesn’t always correlate to price. Every link should be individually soldered and polished, the clasp or tag should be stamped with a purity hallmark and or makers mark.
