You can't, there's too much choice. >>17866605
Well what would you suggest? I told you you can't. Nowhere did you mention that they need to be 'horologically significant'... You might choose some relatively obscure Roger Smith or a Daniels that 95% of 'watch enthusiasts' haven't a clue they even exist. It's too objective, you can't. This whole 'grail' thing is stupid anyway, i change my mind on which watches i would buy if i had heaps of money every month, to be honest i stopped thinking about it alltogether, it's pointless.

Watches truly are cope. I'm not against attempted flexes and wearing 100k on your wrist would be a flex, but the combination of:

> literally no one recognising it

and

>the prevalence of fakes

makes it a pointless exercise. Any pub full of office normies after work has 100 "rolexes" and these guys earn 40k/year.

Kenissi movement, ceramic, uniqueness.
Rolex is pure marketing, their production costs are around 1000$
They are the apple of the watch industry and they produce around 1 Million watches per year. Their only innovation, ever, is creating fake demand by having artificial waiting lists to create a Fake exclusivity even though, like I mentioned, they produce a million of that stuff, every year.
And even IF you get a Rolex, chances are nobody will believe it's real because for every original rolex, there are 20 fakes/replicas out there that are 99.9% the same and can fool even an experienced seller.
Grand Seiko for example are impossible to fake due to the INNOVATIVE movement and maybe even their polishing.
At least, in this case, a ceramic watch is harder to fake.
A Lange&Söhne for example are actual exclusive watches because they produce around 2000 pieces per year and they make rolexes look like toys side by side and you know why? Because rolex doesn't even put the time to dress up their movement. Even a entry level HOMOS has geneve stripes and perlage, and the only thing you get from a rolex is a closed stainles steel (not even hardened btw) back.
You buy a good watch to impress yourself, you buy a rolex to impress others.
There, I gave you 10 reasons as of why a Tudor black bay ceramic is the wiser choice.

It can be. In practice, accuracy is all over the place. Some users report 10 seconds per year gain, others claim they lose several seconds per day. Much like any other watch, how it’s maintained matters.

This is exactly why I sold my Snowflake. Even Seiko treats their watches as disposable.

They only keep parts for a watch for 10 years. After that…well, maybe get lucky. They don’t have special service departments for their high end models, so your Grand Seiko gets serviced by the same guy working on a Seiko 5.

I can now see why Spinnaker never got into the same level as Boldr, RZE, Vario and Zelos considering the fact that they also have a factory of their own in Hong Kong just like 3 of the 4 microbrands I mentioned (Vario is the outlier, the guy who owns it tries to run his business ethically so he has his watches made in the same factories as Citizen does so the whole Made in Japan thing isn't just exclusive to the movement)

To their credit, Seconde seconde probably recommended Blue since their is a Blancpain 50 Fathoms variant of it, but the theming looks absolutely horrible with that blue dial, it's even apparent in their own mock up. Whoever got an extra of the black one, hit me up bros, just not the grey one because I've had a grey dial with glass before and that shit looks makes the bezel look like its laden in cum.

Personaly, I see no issues with it. It was the best compromise they could reach. Those who got the limited edition because they genuinely enjoy the watch still have their limited edition Those who missed out on it can now order it without needing to worry. The nasty scalpers lose out on a lot of potential profit since those who missed out has an alternative. And Spinnaker gets to make more money and dodge the allegation that they're the ones who built up hype only to flip the watch themselves by crashing the secondary market. Everyone wins as far as I'm concern.
Also, removing bot orders won't fix it so long as demand outstrips supply, especially since they set the limit per household to two instead of one for some stupid reason.

Based on my interactions with Roshan since I recommended a concept that looks as good, if not better, that gets to keep the same dial color, it seems that was already concluded and blue was the agreement they want for. My theory was that Seconde seconde was committed to the Blancpain scheme, hence why Blue was chosen, based off picrel.
